What you are watching

Produced by T.H.E Dance Company. Venue partner SCCC. Two-part work by founding artistic director Kuik Swee Boon (郭瑞文) and resident choreographer Kim Jae Duk (金在德). Kuik's part, Pán: The Notion of Transculturation, uses the Pangu creation myth and music by Taiwanese musician Wang Yu-Jun (王榆鈞). Kim's part, Pán: SeungMu, draws on the Korean Buddhist dance Seungmu and his own score. Guest artists Tung Ka Wai (董家威) and Wheelsmith. Languages on stage: Mandarin, English, and Malay, with English and Chinese surtitles. Trailer: YouTube.

SCCC commissioned the work in 2021 for Cultural Extravaganza. That premiere was a livestream. It later took Best Performance at the Asian Arts Awards during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The November 2026 dates are the Singapore live premiere, and they close T.H.E's 2026 season. T.H.E says more than half of the original cast returns. Both shows have a post-show dialogue. The Friday matinee has audio description and creative captioning by Access Path Productions (展能有道).
