As an accounts officer in our company, you will work in a small team covering all sides of accounting and treasury. The Position

• Core responsibility is to ensure the smoothness of daily closing tasks:
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations,
• Crypto exchange hedging, reconciliations, and trade accounting,
• Preparing payments and liaise with bank relationship managers when required,
• Ensure that trade AP and AR positions are fully understood and reconciled and issue the daily financial closing report.

Based on learning curve, other responsibilities will follow:

• AP and AR bookings and review (Xero),
• Attending to customer enquiries related to payments,
• Conducting general know your customer due diligence,
• Contribution to GST process,
• Other accounting and reporting duties as assigned by managers.

Who Should Apply?

• Accounting skills: A qualification within Finance/Accounting or prior exposures to accounting roles.
• Meticulous: As you will be dealing with accounts, you are to be good with numbers and be meticulous and diligent in all aspects of the role, e.g., tallying figures right down to the cent.
• Conscientious: You have a personality trait of being careful and take your obligations seriously. Your working behavior is mature and professional in dealing with your colleagues or solving issues.
• Efficient: While being careful and diligent, you perform your tasks in an efficient and organized manner. You always look for ways of improving the way you are doing things.
• Communicative: As part of an integrated and international team, you are able to communicate well in English in both verbal and written form. You are encouraged to communicate openly and directly across all levels of the organization.
• Committed: You do not leave a task half done; you take ownership of your responsibilities.

Location

The job location is BullionStar's office in the same building as BullionStar’s shop, showroom, and vault at 45 New Bridge Road.

This bustling location is located in between Chinatown and Clarke Quay with the Clarke Quay MRT located just across the road making commuting easy.

Salary and Benefits

The salary is dependent on your capability, experience and skills. The typical starting salary is from SGD 3,000 to SGD 4,000 per month for a driven candidate, plus up to 3 months' bonus. In addition, BullionStar provides an Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) equivalent to 1 month salary. BullionStar furthermore offers reimbursement of medical bills and access to an employee health and fitness benefit program.
