Accounts Team Lead

We’re looking for a 

Team Lead

 – Singapore to oversee client accounting engagements and guide 5-6 associates ( Senior & Junior ). You’ll manage end-to-end accounts, ensure compliance with SFRS/IFRS, and collaborate closely with our regional teams in Singapore and Malaysia. This role also offers exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border structuring as part of our growing global tax practice across Singapore, the UK, and the USA.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead accounting operations and review deliverables prepared by associates, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with SFRS/IFRS.

• Manage a portfolio of clients, oversee month-end and year-end closing, and review full financial statements with a strong focus on reporting quality.

• Handle technical areas such as group consolidation, complex reconciliations, and higher-level accounting matters that associates are not yet equipped to handle.

• Coach, problem-solve, and elevate the team, helping associates overcome technical challenges and improving overall team capability and workflow efficiency.

• Gain hands-on exposure to transfer pricing, international tax, and cross-border structuring, working closely with our global tax practice.

• Work extensively with Xero, QuickBooks, WorkflowMax, NetSuite, and various automation tools to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years in an audit firm.

• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.

• Professional qualification (e.g., CA Singapore, CPA Australia/UK/US, or equivalent) is required.

• Passion for accounting and continuous learning.

• Strong technical foundation in IAS, IFRS and US GAAP
