Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Assistant Floor Manager, Mandala Club works closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the Outlet. You will supervise staff, oversee daily operations, and contribute to achieving sales targets.


KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Supervision and Training:

o Supervise the floor staff.

o Set an example for the rest of the team and be an Ambassador of the Mandala values.

o Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring high motivation and productivity.

o Promote a culture of high performance.

o Execute the club training program as per the published calendar.

o Train staff on the Mandala cycle of service and on product knowledge

o Monitor the staff performance and execute follow-ups when staff is not performing up to standards.

Daily Operations:

o Plan and oversee daily operations by ensuring staff is directed efficiently during shifts.

o Seek information on club events and happenings and be ready to adjust and adapt based on Members' and business needs.

o Run daily briefings.

o Run service efficiently, organize, and support the team to maintain the highest standards.

o Execute opening and closing mgmt. procedures, ensure that setup and closing are always up to standard.

o Address Members' and guests’ inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere on the floor.

o Ensure the club Members and guests receive excellent service in all circumstances.

o Support the Restaurant Manager with maintenance walk around and report any issues to the Maintenance & Facilities Department.

o Ensure the venue, club members' facilities, and team facilities always look clean, tidy, and amazing.

o Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

Sales and Targets:

o Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to set and achieve daily sales targets.

Stock Management:

o Assist in inventory management to optimize the outlet cost control.

o Conduct regular stock checks and implement procedures to minimize discrepancies.

Health and Safety:

o Executes daily walk arounds to ensure the venue is ready and safe for daily operations.

o Ensures compliance with health and safety, food safety, and risk assessment policies.

o Monitor and address any security or safety concerns promptly.

Communication:

o Maintain open communication with the Restaurant Manager, other department heads, and colleagues.

o Relay information to staff on relevant updates as instructed by the Restaurant Manager.
