About the Brand - Tsujiri Founded in 1860 by Riemon Tsuji who was renowned for his spirit of “YUWA”, meaning “continue to innovate and sustain the tradition”. His status was built in Kyoto, Japan to honour his contribution to the Japanese tea industry. Mr Tsuji refined the cultivation of Gyokuro (the highest grade of Japanese green tea) and his method is still used to this day. He is also the inventor of the tea box that preserves the longevity and freshness of the tea leaves during transportation, making fresh tea from Kyoto available to other Japanese cities a century ago. In 2010, CHAHO, which means tea shop in Japanese, was first established outside of Japan to carry on our founder’s spirit to serve fresh tea to our customers worldwide. Job Summary

Lead and supervise daily operations in a fast-paced F&B environment, applying leadership and organisational skills to optimise inventory management, cost control, and staff performance while delivering an authentic matcha experience aligned with the Tsujiri brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate team members to ensure efficient daily store operations and high-quality customer service delivery
• Apply inventory management systems to monitor stock levels and reduce waste, ensuring cost control targets are met
• Manage staff scheduling and performance to maintain operational efficiency during shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and motivated work environment
• Implement organisational processes that support smooth workflow and timely service in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate passion for Japanese culture and matcha products to enhance customer engagement and brand authenticity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in F&B supervisory or managerial roles with demonstrated leadership and organisational capabilities
• Knowledge of inventory systems, cost control methods, and staff management practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shift work requirements
• Interest or passion for Japanese culture and desserts, specifically matcha products
