About Our Client:

Our client, a distinguished bakery brand with a strong reputation throughout Southeast Asia, is expanding into Singapore. They are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated culinary professionals to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Job responsibilities:

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks

• Prepare ingredients (washing, cutting, slicing, marinating, portioning)

• Set up and maintain workstation (mise en place) before and during service

• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards

• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)

• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment hygiene, and safety standards

• Support team during busy periods and help across sections when needed

Requirement:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in a café, hotel or similar culinary environment.

• Familiar with kitchen operations and food safety standards

• Ability to work efficiently during peak hours and manage multiple tasks.

• Good team player with a positive and proactive attitude

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
