About Our Client:
Our client, a distinguished bakery brand with a strong reputation throughout Southeast Asia, is expanding into Singapore. They are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated culinary professionals to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Job responsibilities:
Assist in daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks
Prepare ingredients (washing, cutting, slicing, marinating, portioning)
Set up and maintain workstation (mise en place) before and during service
Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment hygiene, and safety standards
Support team during busy periods and help across sections when needed
Requirement:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in a café, hotel or similar culinary environment.
Familiar with kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently during peak hours and manage multiple tasks.
Good team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
