Electrical Operations Engineer

Job Description

• Lighting Solutions, Electrical Electronic Engineering applications, project management, Daily operations of the firm (public and built environment infrastructure industry-related primarily).
• Technical research, and solutions project management (Site works, Construction, Urban Development planning, Electronics, and Internet of Things industry related)
• Sourcing, purchasing, evaluating of lighting (construction and infrastructure industry-related primarily)
• Identify potential lighting technology trends and prepare for future development
• Hands on lighting applications design, planning, implementation, programming, troubleshooting
• Research and product development of patented state of art smart building solutions (hardware, software, on site implementation, big data analysis)
• Delivery, Operations, Inventory management and all other ad hoc tasks
• Project support; learning and applying lighting product, controls, systems, on site electrical electronics troubleshooting, testing and commissioning
• Drafting and planning of electrical design works
• To work with and lead in house technicians and external vendors / subcons
• Enhance operational capability, improve internal processes and daily operations, and getting relevantproductivity and quality control certificates

Requirements:

• 5.5 days work week
• Background in electrical, electronic, software engineering, architecture and design will be necessary
• Candidate with prior related work experience and skills in C and C++ software and firmware programming will be a bonus.
• Independent, leadership, discipline and able to handle work in an organised systematic approach.
• Knowledge in lighting hard-wares, lighting design and relevant technologies that complements lighting and visual displays will be a bonus.
• A fast-paced, high adrenaline environment, challenging timelines, and deliverables are to be expected.
