Head of Research

Focus:

• Strategic Leadership: Direct the equity research department to define the firm's research coverage universe, identify thematic opportunities, and drive the overall research agenda, focusing on Singapore and Asian markets.
• Research Production: Oversee in-depth fundamental analysis, financial modelling, valuation, and the creation of insightful investment reports and market outlooks. Review and approve all reports, thematic research, and market commentaries, ensuring they are timely, insightful, and actionable for clients.
• Stakeholder engagement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for portfolio managers, relationship managers and clients, articulating complex market trends and stock-specific recommendations.
• Quality & Compliance: Uphold research independence, quality standards, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (e.g., MAS).

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of equity research experience with a proven track record in the Singapore/Asian markets.
• CFA charterholder and prior leadership or senior analyst experience preferred.
• Candidates requiring work passes need not apply.
