Job Title: Host / Hostess (Part-time)
Location: Chinatown
Rate: $13 - $15/hr depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests, manage the guest list, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
2. Reservation Management: Take, confirm, and organize reservations via phone, email, or in-person.
3. Flow Optimisation: Coordinate with servers to balance the workload, ensuring efficient table turnover and managing waitlists during busy periods.
4. Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction with service and food
5. Operational Support: Maintain a clean entryway/dining area, answer phones, and occasionally assist with bussing or taking to-go orders.

Requirements 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, especially under pressure.
Professional demeanour and a welcoming attitude.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods. 

Common Requirements
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is often preferred, but not always required.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
