My client is seeking an experienced HSE & Facilities Manager to lead Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), facilities operations, and sustainability initiatives at our aerospace site. This is a key leadership role supporting safe operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive site-wide HSE strategy, governance, and compliance in line with regulatory and Group standards.

  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve HSE Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

  • Identify and mitigate occupational, facility, and environmental risks; manage incident investigations and corrective actions.

  • Drive HSE performance indicators, reporting progress and insights to management.

  • Manage HSE teams/representatives, training programs, safety committees, and site-wide awareness initiatives.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory engagements.

  • Oversee facilities management, including building maintenance, vendors, contracts, and improvement projects.

  • Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

  • Lead emergency preparedness, fire safety, and evacuation drills.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Aviation / Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or related).

  • Certified WSH Safety Officer (mandatory).

  • Minimum 5 years’ HSE / EHS experience, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

  • Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001; LEAN knowledge is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven leadership with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage emergencies and high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
