Marketing & Content Creation Intern

We are looking for a creative, trend-aware, and social media-savvy Intern to help elevate the digital presence of August Hair Salon and our lifestyle brand, Gentle Glitters. If you have an eye for aesthetics, a passion for storytelling, and love staying ahead of the latest TikTok and Instagram trends, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos (TikTok/Reels) and photos featuring salon transformations and lifestyle products.

• Social Media Management: Assist in managing our content calendar and engaging with our community across Instagram and TikTok.

• Copywriting: Craft catchy captions and promotional copy that resonates with our audience.

• Campaign Support: Help execute marketing campaigns, such as our upcoming seasonal edits and brand collaborations.

• Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of viral sounds, transitions, and beauty/lifestyle trends to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Who You Are

• A Creative Eye: You understand lighting, composition, and have a "vibe" that matches a modern hair salon and accessory brand.

• Tech Savvy: Proficient in mobile editing apps (CapCut, Canva, etc.).

• Self-Starter: You’re proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Communication: Strong command of English with a knack for storytelling.

• Passionate: An interest in the hair, beauty, or fashion industry is a major plus!
