Massuer/ Spa Therapist

Job Description:

The Masseur / Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering professional massage and body treatments while actively promoting spa services, treatment packages, and retail products. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Treatment & Service Duties

• Perform professional massage treatments (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Foot Reflexology, etc.).

• Provide body treatments such as scrubs and basic wellness therapies.

• Conduct client consultation and assess treatment needs.

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and equipment.

• Maintain accurate client treatment records.

• Follow SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.

• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.

Sales & Business Development Duties

• Promote spa packages, treatment upgrades, memberships, and retail products.

• Recommend personalized treatment plans to clients.

• Achieve individual monthly sales targets.

• Upsell and cross-sell services during or after treatment sessions.

• Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.

• Follow up with customers on package renewals and promotions.

• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Requirements

• Certified in Massage Therapy / Bodywork (ITEC, CIBTAC, WSQ or equivalent preferred).

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience.

• Sales-driven with a strong customer service mindset.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable working with sales targets and commissions.

• Able to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.

• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
