Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners to generate MICE-related sales opportunities.
- Follow up with leads from multiple channels and convert them to sales
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize MICE travel packages and price itineraries according to requirements of customers
- Sales driven yet focused on delivering quality work for clients
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and presentations to clients
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure profitable business deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and innovation.
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Proven track record as a travel advisor or in similar sales or service role
- Working knowledge of SABRE and GDS system (Airline booking system)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and suppliers.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Keen interest in international travel trends
- Ability to work independently and yet a team player
Compensation Package
- Basic + commission
