We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Part-Time Senior Marketing Manager to serve as the strategic and operational marketing lead across multiple business units.
This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional who is looking for a flexible work that requires high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution oversight.
This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week with hybrid work arrangement (1 day in office).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Alignment
• Work closely with senior management to understand the business goals, priorities, and timelines for each business unit.
• Translate business objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies and execution plans tailored to each unit's needs.
• Maintain and plan ahead for a consolidated marketing calendar, aligning promotions and campaigns to drive business goals across all business units.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and direct marketing team, ensuring clarity of deliverables and quality of output.
• Set task deliverables for individual team members, calibrated to each person's strengths and development areas to maximise overall team performance.
• Provide coaching on marketing best practices, work processes, and reporting standards as required.
Execution & Quality Oversight
• Oversee the implementation of marketing strategies, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
• Guide junior marketers through campaign execution, providing direction and course corrections where necessary.
• Ensure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and standards across all marketing outputs.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Plan and direct market survey activities and market enforcement initiatives, consolidating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Provide regular and timely reports to management on marketing progress, campaign performance, and advancement towards defined KPIs.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy across business units.
Requirements
• Minimum 15 years of marketing experience, encompassing both the development and execution of marketing strategies from inception through to implementation.
• Demonstrated track record of leading marketing functions or teams, with the ability to drive both strategic vision and ground-level delivery.
• Proven experience working across multiple product or service categories; experience in B2B, consultancy, or technology marketing is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels, with the ability to allocate resources effectively across both.
• Exceptional ability to internalise complex business goals and translate them into prioritised, practical marketing activities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding and developing junior marketing professionals.
• Highly organised, with a structured approach to planning, calendar management, and campaign coordination across multiple business units simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with confidence in defining, tracking, and reporting on KPIs and marketing performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly at both management and team levels.
• Comfortable working in a fractional capacity, managing time efficiently and delivering impact within defined hours.
• Responsive and reachable during agreed working hours for team coordination and management check-ins.
