Product Manager/ Specialist – Beauty

Role Summary

We are seeking a Product Specialist to support the end-to-end development of skincare and beauty products for a house brand. This role works closely with dermatologic labs, OEM/ODM partners, suppliers, and internal teams to translate product concepts into compliant, scalable, and market-ready products.

This is a coordination-heavy, execution-driven role, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in dermatologic labs, cosmetic R&D environments, or closely related industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Coordination

• Act as a key point of contact between:

• External dermatologic labs, OEM/ODM manufacturers, testing houses, and suppliers

  Internal teams including brand, marketing, supply chain, and quality

• Support product development from concept to commercialization:

• Formula briefing and iteration

  Ingredient review and alignment

  Sample development, revisions, and approvals

2. Testing, Safety & Compliance Support

• Coordinate required product testing (e.g. stability, safety, efficacy where applicable)
• Support documentation for regulatory and compliance needs across markets
• Track and manage product development timelines and milestones

3. Technical & Product Knowledge Support

• Provide technical input on:

• Ingredients and formulations

  Claims feasibility (basic understanding, not regulatory sign-off)

  Product performance and user experience

• Act as internal reference point for product-related questions from brand or marketing teams

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing and brand teams to ensure:

• Product features and benefits are accurately translated into consumer-facing narratives

  Claims are aligned with formulation realities and test results

• Support production handover and early-stage launch readiness

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Dermatologic laboratory, cosmetic R&D lab, OEM/ODM skincare manufacturer, or related industry
• Solid understanding of: Skincare product development workflows; Ingredients, formulations, and basic cosmetic science
• Experience coordinating with multiple external partners simultaneously
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage parallel development timelines

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience with cross-border product development or multi-market launches

Familiarity with basic regulatory frameworks (e.g. ASEAN, China, EU – at a coordination level)
