Senior Collections Manager

💰 Salary: S$5,000 – S$7,000 Basic + Variable Bonus

Who We Want

A seasoned hard collections operator with minimum 10 years’ experience in serious recovery work within finance, banking, or licensed moneylending.

You have:

• Managed late-stage delinquency portfolios

• Pushed files to lawyers and understand litigation flow end-to-end

• Issued demands, filed writs, obtained judgments, enforced recovery

• Stood in court corridors and conducted field visits

• Knocked on doors and negotiated face-to-face

• Handled confrontational situations professionally

If you need lawyers to teach you collections — this role is not for you.

What You’ll Own

• Full control of overdue portfolio (individual & corporate)

• Maximise recovery. Minimise losses. Move cases fast.

• Segment and prioritise high-value exposures

• Decide: restructure vs legal escalation vs enforcement

• Drive monthly recovery targets and improve ageing buckets

• Reduce NPL ratio and accelerate recovery cycle

Legal & Field Responsibilities

• Work directly with external lawyers

• Issue demands → file suits → obtain judgment → enforce

• Attend court matters when required

• Conduct debtor visits and negotiate settlements

• Assess assets and financial capacity on the ground

• Travel independently (valid driving licence required)

• Corporate / SME recovery experience preferred

• Proven field collections results

• Independent operator with high resilience

• Strong negotiator who thinks in exposure size and recovery probability

• Performance-driven and numbers-focused

What This Is NOT

• Not call-centre collections

• Not early-stage reminder work

• Not a supervisory desk role

This is hands-on, escalation-driven, performance-focused recovery leadership.
