SOFTWARE AND APPLICATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Qlik Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale analytics solutions using the Qlik platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Qlik Sense / QlikView architecture, data modeling, and BI strategy, and will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to deliver scalable and high-performance analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Design and implement end-to-end BI and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense / QlikView.

• Define enterprise BI architecture, including data integration, data modeling, governance, and security.

• Establish best practices and standards for Qlik development, deployment, and maintenance.

Data Integration & Modeling

• Design optimized data models and ETL processes for Qlik applications.

• Integrate Qlik with various data sources such as databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and data warehouses.

• Ensure efficient data loading, transformation, and performance optimization.

Platform & Infrastructure

• Architect scalable Qlik environments (on-premise / cloud).

• Manage Qlik server architecture, security, and performance tuning.

• Support migration strategies (e.g., QlikView to Qlik Sense).

Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Qlik developers and BI teams.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.

• Establish governance frameworks, reusable assets, and development standards.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize dashboards and data models for large datasets and high concurrency usage.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning strategies.

Collaboration

• Work with data engineers, architects, product owners, and business analysts to deliver analytics solutions.

• Participate in architecture reviews and enterprise data strategy initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Qlik Sense and/or QlikView architecture and development

• Advanced data modeling and scripting in Qlik

• Experience with ETL tools and data integration

• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is preferred

• Familiarity with REST APIs, data lakes, and big data technologies

Architecture & BI

• Experience designing enterprise BI architectures

• Knowledge of data governance, security models, and access control in Qlik

• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization
