The Spa Therapist Manager oversees daily spa operations while actively managing and supporting the therapist team. This role ensures high-quality treatments, excellent customer experience, staff performance, and revenue growth.
Oversee daily spa operations to ensure smooth workflow
Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and products are clean, safe, and well-maintained
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards
Manage spa opening and closing procedures
Supervise, schedule, and manage spa therapists
Conduct training, coaching, and performance evaluations
Ensure therapists follow treatment protocols and service standards
Motivate team to meet service quality and sales targets
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Ensure consistent, high-quality spa treatments and service delivery
Build customer loyalty through personalised service and follow-ups
Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates
Ensure correct execution of spa treatments (massage, facial, body therapy, etc.)
Update and improve treatment menus and service protocols
Ensure proper use of spa products and equipment
Assist with treatments during peak periods if required
Drive spa sales through treatment packages, retail products, and promotions
Set and monitor sales targets and therapist KPIs
Upsell and cross-sell services and products ethically
Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
Manage inventory of spa products, consumables, and linens
Monitor usage, reduce wastage, and control operating costs
Coordinate with suppliers for ordering and stock replenishment
Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal packages
Assist with social media content or customer outreach if required
Collaborate with management on pricing and promotional strategies
Prepare schedules, attendance, and payroll inputs
Maintain treatment records and customer profiles
Submit operational and performance reports to management
Certified Spa Therapist with relevant professional training
Minimum 3–5 years of spa therapist experience (with supervisory role preferred)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Sales-driven and results-oriented mindset
Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and equipment
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Customer satisfaction & retention rate
Monthly revenue and sales target achievement
Therapist productivity and utilisation rate
Treatment quality and compliance standards
Inventory control and cost management
