Tour Consultant

Responsibilities:

Be a Team member of the Outbound/Inbound Department / Student Exchange Programme Department

• Responsible for Group Tour Operations.
• Handling of day to day operations, prepare quotations & operate tour arrangements.
• Manage daily bookings, travel arrangements and other travel-related services.
• Implementation of creative planning and designing of itineraries
• Managing the reservations process for bookings in a manner which ensures guest budget is achieved
• Handling of bookings from quote to finalizing, invoicing and travel documents
• Consistent and clear communication with agents, sales teams, preferred supplier partners, institutions and colleagues.
• Managing Adventure, Cultural and Student Educational Tours
• Perform Overseas Tour Leading assignments

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Min GCE O “levels”, Certificate/Diploma in Tourism with relevant experience preferred
• Bilingual in written & spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin in order to liaise with China Base Clientele
• Knowledge of Sabre GDS System is an added advantage
• Sales driven & able to work independently
• Enthusiastic and motivated with strong communication skills
