This restaurant is the same or is owned by the larger one across the street with a yellow awning and almost the same menu. Went here today for laksa and it tasted like instant laksa, but more watery. Worst of all is the attitude of every female waitress I encountered there, from the one who silently slammed my bowl down, to the one who worked the cashier and seemed bothered to answer any questions. The highballs were syrupy and watery, despite the restaurant having “highball” in the name!

This restaurant is probably under the same management of South Bridge Hotel Restaurant and Chinatown Seafood Restaurant. They all have the same beer deals and 80-90s music. As usual, they have a good selection of draft beers, which were cheap and iced cold. Friendly service.
Yew hui
A small shop with beautiful ambiance makes it an ideal place to dine with friends. Affordable and delicious Japanese cuisine, especially the Unagi don, it's just $16. The food we order 1) Unagi Don ★★★★★ I am a Unagi lover, and unagi needs special preparation. They're grilled and basted with a sweet sauce, and served with eggs and preserved garlic. (OMG...is so yummy) 2) Chicken Don ★★★★☆ My boyfriend had this, and he like it. 3) Fried Oyster ★★★★★ My boyfriend had this too, he loves this, so we order another place of this. Its very fresh. Basically, the food over here is above average. Its worth to try and definitely will come back again.

We tried the food for few times before our event and the food is delicious. The famous chef, Angus (also the staff) is friendly to help us. We hold an event here, our guests like the food and Japanese highballs. :) thanks
