This old shopping mall in Chinatown is one of those that will always do well, because of its strategic location - "situated above" an MRT Station - Chinatown MRT Station - and in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown. While the mall has the usual global brands represented therein, it still exudes an old-school charm that is quintessential of Chinatown - with some independent stores and local brands represented therein - from food and beverage to retail products. So, it is worth a visit IMO - whether you are local or tourist. And there is a lot to see and do near this mall - making it a comfortable starting or ending point.

It is complex. I haven't been to Singapore in 42 years. It's all modern and stuff. And all the eateries close at 10pm, promptly. Not Macas thank goodness. It was the only thing open. Damn. By the way, I flew Singapore Airlines from Darwin, NT, Australia. They were great. Never again will I fly Quaintarse. (QANTAS). Even though it's Australian.
