my personal experience was different from others so it could be isolated. I never get to speak to him and Dr. Liew just attended me for max 10 mins and left the room, both sessions was similar. This was in contrast w his previous session w a lady patient whereby there was alot of discussion. during my wait

My review is long long overdue. Dr Liew was recommended by a customer back in 2008 and my family never looked back. Practically changed my Chef husband's life who'd been suffering from serious lower back issues for 13years and told to either go under the knife or live with the pain by many top surgeons. What we love about Dr Liew is his work ethics in that we (& family/friends that we recommended) were never pressured to pay for unnecessary packages. In my husband's case, he said 20 sessions were all he needed & true enough that was it! We've only been back once in a blue moon for minor alignments. Highly recommended anytime!

Have been visiting Dr Liew for more than 20 years for my low back and shoulders pain. Visit Dr Liew monthly for maintainance. My whole family visit Dr Liew too. He's very friendly and kind.

Update 1 hour post-treatment: Breathlessness. Seeing a doctor tomorrow. Experience: Dr Liew runs a careless and dangerous practice. (1) Assessment: I described a series of both past and current injuries to him - no assessment was done to check current state. No X-ray, no tactile nor visual assessment, none of the regular doctor’s check of the extent of current existing pain was checked. (2) Treatment time: - No discussion: He does not verbally walkthrough what he’s about to do with your body and does not explain the why. This was my first treatment with him. - Brute force: With a lack of pre-assessment procedure, he does not take stock on the extent of your current pain. Despite being informed of my current injury and pain at specific segment of my upper back, he applied full force and does so without any indication/warning, causing intense pain. His method is “I’ll do X first and if i realise it hurts you, then I’ll stop” this is dangerous. - Attitude: Dr Liew carries an abrasive and confrontational air. Whenever high pain was experienced, he does not perform any status check-in and comes off disgruntled instead. - Time spend: My actual face time with Dr Liew was at the most 5-6 minutes. He spent more time out of the room taking phone calls and talking to reception than in the treatment room. Entering/exiting hurriedly in and out each time. You get the tangible sense that he “has better things to do than be present for treatment”. There’s no formal end to the session, after I’ve experienced high pain, his solution was “you lie down and wake up when you feel better” and left the room once again. There’s no debrief to the session either, no recap detailing of what the treatment has been and what we’d require for the future. He abruptly exited to his main office and left me with his receptionist. I’ve consulted countless different doctors from multiple pillars of the industry but this was a first where I left feeling confused, frustrated, injustice, in pain, and a huge “what the hell was all that?”. A positive: The receptionist was excellent.

If you want to loosen up your joints or you have a real stiff neck, the person to look for is Dr Liew. He didn't charge ridiculously like other chiropractors or ask you sign packages or go to x-ray to earn you extra!! 120 per session is so reasonable and all problems gone.
