We were drawn to the new dishes on the menu at Din Tai Fung Chinatown Point and decided to dine in for dinner on December 28. The welcoming and approachable staff made us feel right at home. The menu offers healthier choices eg. vegetarian dumplings and other vegan dishes. We were happy to note that the self ordering option also allows the selection of special dietary requests such as no meat broth, no MSG, and no or less salt. A must-try dish is the Shrimp Paste chicken wings. We enjoyed them so much that we ordered an additional plate of six! Other standout dishes included the deep-fried tofu (chef's recommended dish) , gourd shrimp xiao long bao, and spinach with beancurd, each offering a uniquely delightful flavor. We were particularly impressed with the service from Cui Ping, who was incredibly attentive. She ensured our glasses were topped up with warm water when needed without us having to request. Her thoughtful gesture enhanced our dining experience. The dishes were appetizing, and with Din Tai Fung offering a 15% discount for a minimum spend of $83 via Grab Payment, the value was exceptional. Lastly, thumbs up for the excellent service and food quality at the newly opened Chinatown Branch. We’ll definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.

I had an amazing time at Din Tai Fung's newest outlet at Chinatown Point with my family! You can’t leave Din Tai Fung without having the Fried Rice with Pork Chop & Eggs — it's the perfect balance of savory and satisfying, pairs superbly well with their in-house chilli. My other must-order items are Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao and Shrimp & Pork Wantons in Superior Chicken Broth. We also tried some new menu items such as the Steamed Choco Lava Bun and the Mama Mochi Chocolate Xiao Long Bao, which both have gooey chocolate oozing out.

The food doesn't taste the same in other Din Tai Feng branches. The Oriental Salad and Spicy Hot n Sour Soup taste blend. The Dou Miao taste like under cook vegetables. I wonder this is the real Din Tai Feng. Feedback to the manager is useless as well. Deeply disappointed for today's experience in the Chinatown point branch.

Had lunch with colleagues here. Tried pork chop dry noodles and grass jelly glutinous rice. Both are tasty. Had constant refills for jasmine tea which is a plus.
