A favourite choice on every 1st and 15th day of lunar months. Situated in the basement of the Buddha's tooth relic monastery, this restaurant is packed every lunch and tea time. The selection is varied with Chinese and western delights as well as dessert and a fresh from the oven bakery counter. Highly recommend the spring rolls as well as the popiah. The ice however for the chendol is a little too coarse and not fine enough. If you are in chinatown, you must visit this vegetarian food outlet, and of course pay respect to Buddha in the monastery which is another eye opener to the spirituality of Buddhism.

Vegetarian hawker center at the basement. Clean and air-conditioned. The vegetarian laksa, beehoon and fried spring rolls are delicious. Payment via cash or credit card. Expect a queue during peak hours but the queue moves fast. Self service water and tray return after finishing your meal.

Food here is not bad at all, environment is nice too! Air-conditioned and clean, with exclusive vegetarian menu each day on alternative weeks. I like the mixed vegetables stall. Great variety and taste. Tried the truffle spaghetti from western..i felt that the noodles are overcooked and lacked salt. But it smell good. Maybe should have tried the mock fish soup~ Will return to try their other dishes! Oh and the hot kopi is gooood!! Must order

Visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple at Chinatown on Vesak Day. Crowd was expected on this day with devotees and visitors, making it quite a challenge to find a table. The temple food court was having a carnival for Vesak Day where patrons had to purchase coupons for the food and temple offerings. Joined the Western stall queue for pizza, which had the longest line among the other food options as longer time is needed to bake the pizza. The pizza was simple, just cheese and tomato sauce with no additional toppings. Despite its simplicity, the thin crust was crispy and served piping hot, making it a delightfully tasty treat. Sometimes, the simplest foods hit the spot!

Went there for lunch with a friend. Total costs $10.80 which includes 2 plates with 3 dishes each (like za cai fan), 1 coffee and a bowl of tau suan. Dishes were served warm but tau suan is too starchy. Overall taste for food is pleasant. It can get very crowded during lunch time and we went at 11am which got us a seat๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
