Update on 12 Feb 2024: Dabao some of my fav dishes, but was told that 臭豆腐 dishes were temporarily ceased due the Lunar New Year. Hope they will bring back soon. **************************** A place that I could bring myself back for the third time, the price is legit fair for the serving size. Here's a detailed FR of 5 must-tries: 1) 地锅鸡 serving is generous, n the 饼 is as authentic as the way they make it in 徐州, complete with slight char 锅巴 that softens after soaking in the thick gravy. 2) 老太臭豆腐 if you like your fermented tofu, this will be irresistible. not overpowering at all and goes well with chilli powder. 3) 手撕羊排 grilled to aromatic perfection, you need to ditch your utensils and go with the natural way of using hands to have maximum enjoyment. 4) 十三香小龙虾 crayfish lovers will like the spice and flavour. again, need to go with hands to enjoy. 5) 水烙馍卷馓(san3)子 it is also called 彭城一绝, as the dish purportedly drew its origin from the story of 寒食节, and popular as a dry ration in harsh parts of China in the past.

Looking at the reviews here, I'm wondering is it the same restaurant I ordered from. All the dishes were terrible, taste weird, bland and oily. It's far far from the usual Chinese food. The only thing still ok was the fried crispy dough.

So lucky to find this restaurant randomly. Every menu is good taste. But the corn soup is too sweet. Btw I love deep fried mini bun sooooo much. You should try!

Something different from the usual culinary delights of China Chinese food Interesting food as seen, especially on the version of hotpot or one pot meal Service is pretty ok even when busy Place is small & a little cramped but to be expected Cheap or decent price Tsingtao beer at 4 for $20

Very good Jiangsu food. We came in here for an late lunchtime snack. Had the "Deep fried crispy dough twists and chinese popiah" is light and easy to eat as a starter, while the "lion head meatball" is very tasty and went very well with a bowl of rice. Including drinks it came up to about SGD 26. I'd recommend these two dishes and I'd definitely come back here to try the other dishes.
