Song Fa Bak Kut Teh Chinatown Point is a renowned Singaporean restaurant established in 1969, serving authentic Teochew-style pork rib soup and awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2016. Located at #01-04 Chinatown Point, this air-conditioned establishment operates 10:30am-9:30pm daily, offering Singapore's signature clear peppery broth made by simmering tender pork ribs with white pepper, garlic, and herbs. The restaurant serves two portion sizes: smaller bowl with 3 meaty ribs () and larger portion with 4 ribs (), both featuring free-flow soup refills with attentive staff continuously topping up the hot peppery broth. Popular with locals and tourists, Song Fa delivers efficient service despite regular queues, maintaining its reputation as a favorite destination for authentic bak kut teh since its humble pushcart beginnings on Johor Road. The restaurant exemplifies Singapore's hawker heritage elevated to modern comfort dining while preserving traditional flavors.
So good. So tasty!!!
The Bak Kut Teh is perfectly boiled, soft and tender. The soup is incredibly great. Highly recommended!
The service is also the best. Nice staffs. They place a blanket to cover customer's bags (I guess for privacy, for safety, and in case of soup spatter).
Such a nice and over-expected services.
Staffs also walking to refill the hot soup for customers all the time, even before anyone requested. Best services. ππππ

Wonderful taste, soft texture of Bak kut. The soup of Bak kut teh has tasteful aroma, and can be refilled as much as you like. A serving is quiet much, we ordered 3 Bak kut teh and 1 Braised pork for 6 pax, eating with rice was just full enough. The queue is so long taking around 30 mins waiting.

Soooo delicious. Despite the usual long queue, the staff is highly efficient, they take orders before you sit down, and the food shortly appears after you sit down. The bone soup is refilled by staff, so you can drink as much as your belly allows! There's also a McDonald's next door, so if your kids couldn't appreciate real food, there's a way to feed them while you enjoy the Bak Kut Teh! π

This is a lovely restaurant known for their famous Bak Kut Teh and it was a delight to eat here.
They served such a vast range of choices - all at good prices and in small portions so you can try bits of everything.
Our favourite here is the prime spare rib - very tasty and the soup was so heart warming. Worth trying this restaurant out or at least one of their branches if youβre in Singapore.

One of the best porl rib herbal soup in Singapore and they have quite a few branches. Love their temder bak ku teh pork ribs which fall off the bone, crispy dough fritters (you tiao), kai lan vegetables and 3 type platter (stewed peanuts is so nice). Highly recommend!
