I had brunch at The Central cafe Just wanted to say thanks for the surprise in my Truffle Egg Mayo sandwich today. I thought I ordered a sandwich, not a science experiment. Halfway through, I found translucent vegetables staring back at me — like, actually see-through. Was this a new recipe? Or are we starting a ghost vegetable range now?
Honestly, I’ve supported Swissbake because I trusted your food quality, but this? This made me lose my appetite and question if that trust was misplaced. It’s not every day a sandwich makes me reconsider my lunch choices and my life decisions.
Really hope this was just a fluke. Or maybe a limited-time “invisible freshness” campaign I missed?
Looking forward to not seeing this happen again

Wife and I stopped by at 11:20 Sunday morning and thought we’d have a bit of breakfast. Stood for a few minutes while being totally ignored by staff. Sign stated they had a drink discount with breakfast till 11:30. I saw the little bell on the counter and rang it finally getting the staff to quit ignoring us. After placing our order the young man made every excuse possible not to serve us breakfast beginning with it is over for today when it was still only 11:28. Then it was no more eggs… Really?? Is this how you close your breakfast orders? Exude not to serve? That’s alright, I took my money and spent fifty dollars on breakfast elsewhere. We’ll not ever be back. Very poor excuse for staff.

Even with the 1 for 1 promotion, you should not serve such sandwich to yr customer. The avocado is already black and you still put it inside the sandwich. Such a disappointment! Nor wonder had to do 1 for 1 at 6pm timing to clear the sandwiches. Just my luck and potential buyers, beware.

Food was served cold. Sausages tasted like plastic. Rosti was crispy thin and cold. Service was non existent.

I have been visiting this place ever since I started my gym training 8 months ago.
The food selection while not huge, is healthy and nutritious especially for the grain bowls. At $13.90 the chicken bowl is very reasonably priced with a huge amount of chicken and 8 ingredients in all. If you are a Como member , you can earn points for each purchase and accumulate cash points to offset the next round.
The sandwich selection is huge and one is spoilt for choice. The croissants, muffins etc are all lovely.
The place is always very clean with an auntie always diligently clearing the plates and cleaning the table. The service crew are nice.

Food here was commendable, I got the thai spicy chicken kraftwich and the smoked duck kraftwich for the last hour special 1 for 1 deal. Both still tasted great, the staff even offered to help heat them up. Overall affordable food with well portioned size. Highly recommended and I would definitely buy from them again for a quick meal.

My recent experience at Swissbake Central was truly delightful, and a large part of that was due to the exceptional service. From the moment I stepped in, the staff were welcoming and attentive. They were patient as I made my selections, offering helpful suggestions with enthusiasm. My order was prepared efficiently and with care. Kudos to the entire team for making my visit so pleasant!

I was pleasantly surprised! It's just a simple looking shopping centre coffee shop but great, flavousome coffee (compared to other coffee shops in the area). Pastries are fresh. Worth trying this and comparing to other coffee shops. Enjoy!

We got the truffle mushroom pizza ($6.90) and a hot matcha latte ($5.80) in the afternoon. The latte price is comparable to fast food joints and the taste has a strong green tea flavor, which we enjoyed. We got our pizza slice toasted and the edges turned out crispy. The umami of the truffle was mainly from the sauce with the mushroom toppings providing a chewy texture. Overall, quite a lovely place to stop by and sit at their tables. (The seating area is one of few in this mall and has a good atmosphere.) Staff was friendly and efficient; our food/drink was prepared within 5 minutes.
