Arrived at around 7.15am and there were already ~20 people waiting ahead of me. You might want to try coming earlier! The shopkeeper told me that they open at 6.30am.

Got some ondeh ondeh ($2 for 4) when I was here on a workday Tue 7:30am. Thick skin with substantial melting Gula Melaka cube in the middle. I sense frustration of some reviewers who journey all the way only to find items are sold out. I view this as decent snacks (grab only if you’re in the area) by very hardworking couple wishing to only sell certain volume each day

Was recommended this place by a colleague, and when I heard that they sell out by 8am, I decided to make a trip down. I woke up at 5am on a Saturday and caught the first bus from my place to Chinatown Complex. There was already a queue at the stall when I reached at 6.30am but I managed to get everything on the menu except for the tapioca sandwich. All the items were really yummy, though I felt the ondeh ondeh was a bit too large. After having breakfast and coffee and returning to the stall at 7.54am, they had already switched off their lights and were sold out. So come early if you want to have a taste of these items.

I once joked that on my birthday, I would be content if I could have my stomach’s worth of sweet potato balls from this stall. Yes it’s that good. And perhaps I wasn’t joking. They sell out by 730am so the early bird catches the worms (balls).

Very delicious. Price increased by 20% to 33%. Fried sweet potato balls taste just like how my late-grandma made it. Also like the sesame ball, ondeh ondeh, putu mayam. No artificial colouring in the food, just the way I like it.

The sweet potato balls are very dense and yummy! Always came at 10am and their shutters were already down so this time, I arrived at 6:20am before their official opening time and there was already a queue of 3 pax before me. Spent around 5 minutes in the queue. Aunty has a very humble and friendly personality and says she sells out by 9am or 9ish in the morning. Must go early if want to get this gem!

Tried sweet potato balls, tapioca kueh, ondeh ondeh, putu mayam and tapioca sandwich. All was good. Not too sweet. Fresh coconut. No wonder they sell out fast. Friendly stall owner. Would definitely recommend for such delicious old school snacks!

Freshly made local snacks. Ondeh Ondeh slightly pops in your mouth. Sweet Potato balls are crunchy yet chewy.

Auntie is friendly and open to enquiries about their food . No More Carrot sandwich ( they no longer made it - auntie said ) Have Putu mayam / ondeh ondeh / tapioca kueh / fried sweet potato ball / fried sesame ball . Ondeh ondeh - sweet potato outside is Q n nice ( not those chewy type which use more filllers ) . Authentic . Filling somewhat bit disappointing . The liquid texture is on point .. BUT just that its too sweet . Cut down on the sweetness and will be more perfect . Coconut shavings ( coating ) a bit dry . ** Bought the ondeh ondeh around 7am and sold out at 7.30am . Sweet potato ball still have but not much . Overall . Above average / nice ondeh ondeh .
