Craft Studio Manager

We're a Tufting studio with 2 outlets: one at Pioneer, another one at Chinatown

Job Scope:

1. Manage day-to-day operations at our Chinatown studio.

2. Prepare tools&equipment for workshops (90% are tufting workshops)

2. Conduct tufting workshops, assist customer finish their tufting (60% of the work)

3. Trim and process the end products( 20 % of the work )

6. Maintain cleanliness of the studio and equipments (10% of the work)

Requirement

1. Malaysian/SC/PR/LTVP with PLOC
2. Proficiency in spoken English (Must)
3. Ok to travel (example 5 workings/week, 4 days at Chinatown studio, 1 day at our Pioneer Studio)
4. Public Holidays and weekends are your default working days
5. Good patience and communication skills to deal with customer
6. Good handicraft skills especially when using scissors, skillful and patient (Must)
7. Outgoing/extrovert
8. Some event organization and crowd control skills.
9. Work experience in craft-related jobs are preferred
10. No requirement for education background, nor past tufting-related work experience.
11. Min 3 month contract, 6/12 month contract available.

You can walk from MRT around 5 mins to both studios.

Work hours (flexible 2 days off every week, about 35～40hrs/week):

Usually Mon&Tue Off(open for discussion), Wed/Thu/Fri 12-7pm; Sat/Sun/PH 1130am- 9pm

OT 40hrs and above: OT $18~20/hr

Salary: $2800~$3600/mth (Basic $2600~$3000 + Performance-based bonus)
