Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:30am–6:30pm
(Weekend & PH work required; off days on weekdays)

Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead their Ladies’ Fashion department in a luxury retail environment. This role requires strong commercial acumen, refined merchandising expertise, and exceptional people leadership to deliver elevated customer experiences and drive business performance across both physical and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive departmental sales, profit, and stock performance through strategic merchandising and buying decisions.

• Manage merchandise assortment, buying budgets, inventory levels, and vendor relationships.

• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to optimise product mix.

• Lead and motivate the sales team on the floor to deliver luxury service standards and achieve targets.

• Oversee visual merchandising, promotions, and digital initiatives to enhance brand presence.

• Manage day-to-day department operations, reporting, and cost control.

• Conduct staff training, performance management, and annual appraisals.

• Handle customer feedback professionally to maintain brand excellence.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, WSH standards, and confidentiality requirements.
