The bank official closing time is 445pm, but when reached there at 430, the bank says today suddenly high volume, so bank decides to close 1 hour earlier, so staff no need to stay back late but customers can be turned away before official closing time. And there are still many customers coming in before closure time but told bank closed. Speaking about professionalism:(

Had a great experience opening my first account with Maybank at this branch. Very efficient counter service by Simeon Tan. Simeon (counter 9) and the lady at counter 10 even answered my questions irrelevant to account opening with a warm smile. Impressed with Maybank!

Most awful and unfriendly tellers (counter staff). Cannot read the screen form cash deposit machine. Day time, too bright because of the sunlight. Night time, poorly lit lighting, cannot even see the key pad properly. Complained many times but no corrective actions... terrible service.

I dont think I would want to give even a single star to this branch or to maybank in particular. Went to the branch at Chinatown this morning at around 10.15am and was served at Counter 1, couldn't get hold of the staff's name as we wanted to settle the opening of our business account fast from the way she behaved. I like to make it clear that there wasn't any form of aggressive intimidation or interaction towards that particular female staff but the way she presented herself seem to be extremely unacceptable. She requested the forms from us by saying "where is the form" and felt kind of irritated attending to our request which was nowhere near ridiculous. When we asked some simple questions about the account, because we are using it for business purposes, she seem irritated and perhaps, annoyed and it seemed like customers are always annoying. I also realised that, there was no name tag on her as well which is in contrast with the other banks. I hope Maybank will seriously consider sending the staffs for customer service training regularly so that they will provide a better hospitality to customers.

Maybank should have a Business Internet Banking for Mobile app. If not it is really really very inconvenient for users to do transaction. With app it will definitely make transactions easier and much more convenient for business owners. With the current condition of still using physical OTP token, it’s a real hassle. Hope Maybank could escalate this and do the necessary update to catch up with what other banks are already offering! Thanks!

The lady at the information counter is helpful and smiling.But the staff at counter number 9.....very 'professional' but very cold.I ask him what is the current exchange rate MYR-SGD today.All he said is I dunno. Assuming he is preoccupied with other things he needs to complete

Traumatic experience here. The system is chaotic. The service people were helpful though and better than the service at Waterway Point. Happy to close my account.
