I recently visited MICHAELA for the first time, following my wife’s recommendation of their Kaihuku spa. She suggested that I book an appointment with Aya. I booked for a haircut and Kaihuku spa. The place is clean, cozy and surely a relaxing environment. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks of our choice with a nice handwritten note too. As for my haircut, Aya took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for my haircut to ensure we were on the same page. The haircut itself was done perfectly and just the way I wanted it. Very happy with the outcome. However, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Kaihuku spa experience. As someone who frequently suffers from headaches, I found the spa treatments incredibly soothing. Aya made sure I was comfortable during the entire process, which helped me relax completely - a much-needed reprieve from my everyday stress. Overall, both my wife and I had an exceptional experience at MICHAELA. We will definitely be returning for more treatments in the future!

My daughter had her first hair colour highlights at MICHAELA under the recommendation of my cousin. Mr Endo-san is a professional hair stylist and he listened to our concerns and needs and recommended a nice haircut and colour highlight which suited my daughter very well!! 👍👍 The receptionist attending to us was polite and attentive and the clean and pleasant salon environment contributed to a very positive experience for us! Highly recommended!

Pampered myself with a wash, cut, dye, treatment and perm. It was a great experience, very relaxing. Place was nice, very clean with a good view too! They also serve tea and sweets. Service was 💯

It is easy to find any salon but it is not easy to find a salon that offers good haircut, hair colour treatment and hair treatment. I am glad I found Hair Salon Tokyo Michaela by chance and had a beautiful haircut before the Chinese New Year starts. I enjoyed how professional the staff was in handling my hair and the thoughtful gestures I experienced was wonderful. Most importantly, Kenta can understand my needs during the hair consultation. With his meticulous care in handling my hair, I am looking forward to my next visit.

I had a delightful and relaxing experience with the bubbly hairstylist Kenta for transforming my hair last week! ☺️ The staff were highly professional and attentive to my needs compared to other salons, and I was given valuable advice after, I highly recommend their services. As soon as I stepped in to Michaela Hair Salon I was feeling soooo welcomed! They thought through all the small details to make your experience there perfect. They offer tea or coffee of your choice, that have nice trays for your jewellery (if you want to remove them for the treatment), they have even stand for your phone and my favourite part - comfy pillow for your arms to rest while the session! My stylist was Kenta. Very attentive, easy going and professional! We discussed all my requests before starting the dye and cut. They use very good products for the scalp, which defends your skin from dye chemicals. They put cream on your skin not to colour it and even have special coverage for ears))) so cute))) Another level of satisfaction was washing hair and spa session! I relaxed so much that I even fell asleep for a while 🙈 Highly recommended! You will not regret going there. In the middle of the session there I felt like I even don’t care about the results because the experience was so great! The result of my hair dyeing and cut was perfect and my mood is amazing!

I had an amazing experience at MICHAELA with Aya as my stylist! I went in for a haircut and the Anti aging Straight Perm, the results were beyond my expectations. Before the treatment, my hair was frizzy, unruly, and difficult to manage—especially in Singapore’s humid weather. But after Aya worked her magic, my hair became smooth, silky, and naturally straight—exactly what I had hoped for! The salon itself is bright, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The entire team was attentive and professional, making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Aya’s attention to detail and expertise truly made a difference, and I could tell she genuinely cared about achieving the best result for my hair. Not only did I love my new hairstyle, but I also received so many compliments on the same day—which just proves how beautifully done it was! I’ll be coming back for sure.

Just had my hair cut done by Kelvin at Kojimaya at The Central. He was really patient and did a fantastic job ensuring a perfect cut all round. Will definitely come back again for your service as I’ve just found the perfect place and stylist for my hair. Thank you

For $15 the hairdressers at Kojimaya cut women's hair the best (as compared to other express haircut brands). They are efficient and meticulous. Best value for money.

I have heard a lot about this barbershop and though I give it a go since the were like three people inside. The moment I stepped in, I took a seat. Bad mistake. The only male barber stared at me (scowled) and gestured with his comb and pointed for me to pay thru the machine first. Ok that’s kinda rude. So I went there. Luckily I had a 5 and 10. (Apparently that’s what the machines accepts. I tried putting the ten in many times but it kept rejecting the note. I turned and saw the male barber gave me a very unhappy face. I was about to like walk out till a brown haired auntie told me ‘let me change it for you’. At that point I was like ok whatever. But I was still nice. And very polite. So after that she told me to take a seat and I told her how to cut it. I said cut the sides short and just trim a bit of the top cos I wanted to keep my hair longer. The result was a very short hair cut. At this point I just wanted to leave, write a review and never come back. So for those who wants to come here, Stick to kcuts. And to the Chinese barber, mind your manners and learn to be polite.
