Nice big park. The sun sets behind some surrounding buildings so it is nice and cool towards the evening.

For 16 years Pinkdot has literally been the best use of space at Hong Lim Park ever. No other movement, no matter how legitimate, comes even close to its level of scale and civil participation. - Picture credits to Pinkdot πŸ’— …

It's not just Speakers' Corner and hosting Pink Dot events, the old ground has a lot of history which many Singaporean and me don't know or forgotten!! It was used to be Police Court, and the Central Police Station, even before Hill Street Station. Later was a Post Office. A Chinese Cricket Club Recreation Clubhouse was also there. πŸ‘€πŸ˜²πŸ˜œπŸ™πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬

Beautifully maintained open area garden park that showcases both the courtesy and care of the residents and the workers responsible for maintenance. It has an open air stage, a walking circuit, a few bench seats around the perimeter, bins for any rubbish and a Speakers Corner for public gatherings. The Park Royal hotel and its beautiful garden platforms overlook it. It has security cameras and it's quite well lit at night. It also adjoins an entrance to the MRT (Rail/train) system. It is quite a beautiful park to sit and relax in, catch up with friends, exercise, play ball sports (albeit no court). This green space was my go to on down time from touring. Much better than time spent in a hotel room!

A neat and tidy park in the CBD worthy of a visit for the oasis in the middle of busyness.

A rather small park, away from the noisy and crowded Chinatown. Great for some quiet moments.

Cool green park with benches to relax. Overlooking cityscapes. Nice place to take a break from walking and sip of iced Yuanyang from Market Street Hawker 500m away. Lovely sunny days ahead!

It has a speakers corner, so what are you waiting for...if you have something to say. It also has a stage of some sort, where there was dancing going on.
