The Rooftop Garden at Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is a tranquil hidden oasis located on the 4th floor of the magnificent Tang-styled Chinese Buddhist temple in Chinatown. This peaceful sanctuary features the world's largest prayer wheel - the Vairocana Buddha Prayer Wheel - standing approximately 2 stories high within the central Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda. The beautifully landscaped garden showcases abundant orchids including the exquisite Dendrobium Buddha Tooth orchid, trees, and shrubs arranged in flowerbeds named after various Buddhist followers. Four graceful pavilions house the Buddhas of the Cardinal points, with sheltered benches along the garden walls for contemplation. Accessible via elevator or marked staircase with wheelchair lift from the fourth floor, this serene rooftop retreat offers visitors a spiritual respite from Chinatown's bustling atmosphere, providing an elevated experience of natural beauty and Buddhist tranquility in the heart of Singapore's heritage district.
Have been here on every 1st and 15th day of the Lunar calender 初一與十五的農曆月。This is the rooftop garden of the temple. You can't take a lift to get here, you need to take the lift to the top floor and then take a flight of stairs up to this rooftop garden. You can turn the giant prayer wheel here 3 time to pray and to get good lucks. This is a very serene place to rest and/or pray. Beautiful rooftop garden!!!

This is a great example of the religion place where you can find peace of mind, even though it is located in a very busy and bustling area.

Make sure you take the lift to the garden to experience the largest Buddhist prayer wheel and view the buddah's tooth on the fourth floor. There are no pictures allowed in the "tooth" area. The room is a masterpiece of gold and red splendor dedicated to Buddah. It's inspiring
