Had a playdate meetup at The Joy of Toys at Central Clark Quay today. While I appreciate the variety of play areas for kids, the experience was marred by unhelpful and rude staff. The rules for the different play areas were somewhat unclear, leading to some confusion. When one of our friends wanted to make payment for accessing a different area, the staff at the counter dismissed us with a dismissive "It's common sense." This was incredibly rude and left us feeling upset. While I understand that staff are there to enforce rules, a more helpful and polite approach would have been appreciated. Clearer signage or a more welcoming explanation would have avoided the entire situation. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the staff's attitude. I would recommend The Joy of Toys to improve their customer service and communication, especially when dealing with families and children. --------------- Just quoting from your response "[...]he was quite argumentative and pedantic. This is a known standard for all playgrounds in Singapore." While your policy regarding ticket sharing might be standard practice, the way it was communicated to us was disappointing. A simple, polite explanation would have been far more effective than the dismissive "common sense" comment. Instead of focusing on the perceived argumentativeness of my friend, I urge you to focus on improving your staff's customer service training. A more welcoming and helpful approach would greatly enhance the overall experience for families visiting your establishment. The tone and language used by your staff member created a negative experience that overshadowed the positive aspects of the play area itself.

Love love it. I could really rest and do my work while my kids were playing. There were toys everywhere like doll houses, trains, mind puzzles, kitchen set, musical instruments etc. My kids don't like noise and the rah rah (e.g. loud play areas with ball pits) and so they were in their comfort zone over here. I highly recommend this place for parents who need some time off as well. Couches were very comfy.

FRIZZY HAIR GIRLS THIS PLACE HAS THE SOLUTION! [Just look at the photos - before and after!!!] Saw one of their reels on IG (@threes_ken) and was immediately sold!! If you’re born with frizzy hair like me and our humid country just isn’t helping, you need to get your hair done by Threes salon! Ken is so good with rebonding and he doesn’t flatten your hair out like other salons do! The outcome is so natural and SHINY??? I’m honestly shocked and very very happy! No more frizzy hair or waking up looking like a grizzly bear for now! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 much love! 😍🥰

Glad I visited the Threes Beauty Salon! My hairstylist, Ken, was meticulous and skillful. The rebonding treatment left my hair soft and silky — I’m loving the new look. He also gave me a great haircut that frames my face beautifully and makes it look slimmer. Thank you Ken 👍 …

I deleted my old review to update for new hairstylist - Yuki!! Yuki always consult me at every step of the process and explain to me. She also explain to me on 1. What can be permed, 2. What hairstyles require curls, and 3. what suits my hair!!! Thank you Yuki!!

Ken has been a professional and patient hairstylist. It is never easy to find a best dedicated one on one professional hairstylist to understand your hair texture, right hairstyle and the right fit for your face for every individual needs. I have been to many hair salons and many hairstylists, they do not understand the right fit hairstyles for face or understand hair texture. I am very satisfied with his services and his patience, professional recommendations for colours, treatments cater to suit each individual, highly skilled for mid, long and short hairstyles, I will definitely recommend him. Thank you Ken for your great work done.

Disappointed with most salons that I visited previously as they cannot deliver what I wanted for my hair and resulted my hair been damaged and the colour for my hair faded faster than expected. I decided to try out Threes salon. What entails me to visit this salon is their LV Pro and Illumina colour which I did my research before coming by to their salon. 1. LV Pro : Damaged hair is not immune to long standing alkaline agents. LV Pro is an acidic hair straightener with a pH (isoelectric point) that is gentle on the hair and does not put an extra burden on the hair. 2. Illumina colour (Permanent colour) : Setting a new benchmark for naturalness in hair colour with incredible light reflection and incredible hair protection while providing irresistible hair quality. Visiting Threes Salon today for the first time, I have requested for Ken as I wanted to try out a special skill that only he can do - “curving rebonding” - a more natural look compared to most rebonding that makes the hair looking too straight and stiff. He is very attentive, patient and polite. I took my chance to let Ken decide what hairstyle and colour that will suit me better and pleasantly surprised with the result. Most importantly, they offer attractive promotion for first-time customers and good loyalty discount for returning customers. It is always good to book ahead if you want to look for Ken in order to avoid disappointment.

It’s my first visit to this salon and it was a great experience. My stylist Chie is very friendly and patient. She listened to what I shared and also gave her suggestions as well to ensure I get the style I wanted. Showed her a picture of the hair style I wanted and she was able to achieve it. Wished I had more time to go beyond just a hair cut but too bad my reservation was last minute and she already had her schedule filled up for the day. Highly recommend Chie and this salon if you are looking for an authentic Japanese salon.

My first time in this salon after doing researches on anti frizz treatment and decided to try LVPro rebonding with Ken. A satisfied experience with the results that I wanted. Added the treatment suggested by Ken. I will swing by again to try hair colour with them.
