Clean and tasty, but definitely a bit touristy. Their roasted pork is amazing (not pictured) 😍 no weird smell at all, crispy skin and juicy inside.

Visited this place from overseas after seeing the first hawker stall to be awarded Michelin star after nearly 4/5 year. Saw the chef and owner as well. Food flavour was good but the temperature on the food was not warm as expected. The only concern I had was the service delivery from the staffs. When I asked for an additional plate he just didn’t hand me properly he just tossed on the table . I believe improvement in delivery and quality control in food will lead to more brand image.

5 stars for 5 reasons 1. The soya sauce chicken and rice was phenomenal! The skin is delicious! Everything went well with the rice! Blended perfectly! 2. Just the right amount of portion! Not too much and not too little. 3. Price is unbelievable and super affordable for Michelin! 4. The service was super fast! 5. Small and not overwhelming menu!

Came to try the famous 1 Michelin star chicken rice. It's a branch just outside the original stall which is located in the food court opposite this stall. Big queues so be prepared to wait. The food was really good and worth the wait. The char siew was my favorite but the soy sauce chicken that won the star was equally as good. I like that they have a self service station for condiments so you can take as much as you like.

Hawker Chan Restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star from 2016 to 2021. Once very famous for their Soya Sauce chicken, but over the years, stiff competition from others have took some shine off this street hawker turned restaurant owner's magical success story. We arrived at around 11.45am. and the restaurant was already quite packed with diners. We ordered half a chicken and 3 noodles and waited for around 15 minutes before our number was called. The soya sauce chicken was OK, but the Noodles was a little too stiff for my liking as I preferred the traditional softer eggs noodles.

Food was excellent. Very low cost. They had good drinks like sugar cane juice. Great tasting soy sauce chicken, char sui and roast pork with the crispy skin! Rice with the secret soy sauce was fantastic. The soup was super hot, be careful. Wasn’t that good. Highly recommend visiting and trying the food. This is a fast food joint. Don’t expect service like you get from a proper Michelin rated restaurant.

Finally my dream of dining in a Michelin Star restaurant came true at Hawker Chan in Singapore. Wonderful food, quiet ambience and quick service made the overall experience worth the amount spent. The prices are very comparable to the food prices at other hawker centers but the quality and experience is better. They also served vegetable dishes. A must visit place for everyone who visits Singapore.

Liao Fan Hawker Chan in Chinatown is famous for its Michelin-starred soy sauce chicken rice. Delicious taste, affordable price, perfect portion, and tender chicken. The place is simple and often crowded, but definitely worth trying.

The place is located right by the roadside, so it’s very easy to find. The dining area is spacious, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere, a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. The service was fast and efficient, and the prices are quite affordable, which was a pleasant surprise considering it's a Michelin starred place. This was actually my first time trying Michelin starred food, so I came in with pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t really live up to the hype. The food was just okay, nothing particularly special in terms of flavor or presentation. What disappointed me the most was that it was served completely cold, not even slightly warm. That definitely affected the overall impression of the meal. While the environment and service were good, I personally expected more from a restaurant with Michelin recognition, especially in terms of the food quality and serving temperature. It might still be worth trying for the experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

This former Michelin 1 star hawker now turned franchise restaurant was probably as expected, good but not great. The food was certainly tasty, and the tourist meal which zhas multiple meats was good. The highlight is certainly the soy sauce. However as others have pointed out, the chicken was not warm/hot which is a real disappointment. You sit and read on the wall how he prides himself on the quality etc, yet you see it slipping. The service was also mediocre. The lady servicing us seemed to just be in a rush rather than helpful. Overall fine as a one off experience but won't be back unfortunately.
