One of the better economical rice I have tried so far. Great value for money. A wide variety of nice local dishes and with complimentary soup to go along. So good that we come all the way down regularly and do not mind the long queue.

Liji is my favourite cai fan by far 😭😭😭😭 never once i ate there, packed home and still so yummy. I had it 4x so far all packed back. It's so guuuud and affordable. I miss liji every now and then. Best for me were the braised shitake mushrooms, fried chicken and fried tempura prawn/ebi.

Food was delicious! I had bean sprouts, steam pork ribs and stuffed beancurd sheet that's wrapped into a tiny parcel. It reminds me of my mum's cooking when I was growing up. The free watercress soup was so delicious and light.

I've been a fan of their food since I was a kid. Until now, it has been passed to their 3rd Generation yet the taste is still wonderful! I really love how they still charge as little as possible, having sentimental feeling for older regulae folks who are their loyal customers since long ago. If you're looking for some authentic cantonese-style homecooked food, this is a place for you. Super affordable, value for moey and importantly tasty! But please give a little patience to them as they really try to work as fast as they can to satisfy every customer!

Old school economic rice at its truest form. Economically priced, delicious, traditional dishes, and comes with complimentary soup of the day! Where in CBD to pay less than $4 for 3 sides (of 1 meat and 2 veg) and a soup!

Yesteryear taste. Plenty of choices and most importantly price is cheap and super delicious. Nice family business and their service is quick and friendly. Comes with complimentary soup. Cannot find this taste anymore.,just tastes different than all other chap chai fan stalls out there. Always a long queue and mostly the elderly generation folks . Very good. 8/10

Was checking out the long queue at the hawker center. Came across and waited to try it out for lunch. Mostly are older generation people who are waiting. The stall holders are patience since mostly are elders who are purchasing. Price is reasonable at $3.80 for 4 sides. Taste is definitely home cooked style. I love it and deserve waiting.

I have walked past this stall so many times, and I thought people were queuing for them because the food was cheap. Boy, was I wrong. I was intrigued to try this stall after finding out that a dish I had at a private dining venue recently was inspired by a dish at Li Ji. It is prawn paste pork, or 咸虾猪肉 in Cantonese / Mandarin. I came on a Friday afternoon just before lunch time and the queue was in full force. While the auntie was scooping my rice, I asked her if the dish I came for was still available. Thankfully it was, but the try was almost out. I also got some freshly made sweet and sour pork, bitter gourd yong tau foo and an item which I didn't know its name. All these were $7.20 (May 2025). The prawn paste pork was pungent and lovely, and it reminded me of the steamed pork ribs with black beans you get at dim sum restaurants, but 100 times more intense. The dishes here are also different from other cai png stalls as they are selling Cantonese dishes. I highly recommend to give this stall a try to get a taste of home cooked Cantonese food.
