5 stars for the smooth prawn rice noodle roll. Prawn was copious. 4 stars for the pork porridge, ingredients fresh and portion big. Porridge could be smoother but this is my personal preference and their specialty is not the porridge anyway. Porridge had good amount of tender pork meat and ribs. Would recommend a visit.

Cheong fun here is rolled ribbon-style, and as such has thicker folds. Despite the thickness, it still maintained a slippery, melt-in-mouth texture with slight chew, very good. Plain ccf comes with three sauces, topped with sesame seed and spring onion. Soy sauce was light, balanced, and not overwhelming of salty or sweet. Peanut sauce slightly sweet. Chilli sauce unremarkable and too runny. Presentation, peanut, and chilli sauce can be improved. Had to ask for more peanut sauce as original amount given too little. Mid-price for hawker fare, can try.

Cheong fun noodles are freshly made to order here. At 8.40am on a Friday, there was already a crowd formed and waiting for their food. Wait time is 10mins. I would recommend to skip the chilli here. It’s spicy and watery (would prefer those drier and with 虾米kind). Shrimps were disappointingly small. Noodles themself are very silky smooth. Might visit again for the original version without chilli added.

I am wowed by this stall. There is endless flow of patrons ordering yet the food is dished out very quickly and still delicious. Portion is so huge even for a big eater like me, trust me that bowl for congee can feed a family of 2 adult and 1 child if they are average eaters. The congee is so big that i had difficulty finishing because of the cheongfun i ordered. Congee came with tenderloin pork slices so thin and soft that you think you are swallowing chewy sweet thats flattened. Came with a few handmade porkball now thats the interesting thing. No tricks to mask its freshness just pure pork, no chesnut, ginger, garlic, pepper whatsoever. Pure ingredients, pure freshness. The cheongfun is also too big, usually other handmade cheongfun stalls are very stingy and also take a long time to do. Theirs are such a big portion adequate for two, and the concoction of the taste is just nice. Not too overly salty, yet not bland. They also serve carp congee and pork rib congee, can see its very popular.
