For $15 the hairdressers at Kojimaya cut women's hair the best (as compared to other express haircut brands). They are efficient and meticulous. Best value for money.

I had a great experience with Rali! Even though it was just an express haircut, he really took his time and paid attention to the details. I can tell he puts his heart into his work, thank you!

Been going to Kojimaya for the past three years and it is such good value. I always make sure to ask for Lily, who is usually very much in demand but she is well worth the wait. She always takes care in cutting my hair and takes the time to check that every part of my hair is well balanced. Thank you Lily!

Decided to try the hair cut here after reading good reviews, but sadly turns out to be the worst experience. I would have given 0 stars if there was an option. I visited on a quiet weekday afternoon and there was only one customer having her haircut at the time. The other female hairdresser was free and was looking at her handphone so naturally she came to me when I stepped inside. Knowing my hair texture well, I hilighted to her on a few very specific points and asked for a trim of my long hair. She did not ask any questions and proceeded to work. As she looked quite experienced, I left my hair in her hands. She worked super fast and finished quickly, not once bothering to check with me on the cut (she was done even before the other customer was done and there was no customer waiting). I looked in the mirror and my heart sank. My hair and fringe were cut way shorter than I asked for with way too many layers, I knew it will take at least a month for my hair to hopefully grow out and in the mean time I will need to keep it tied up. Btw, I found out this hairdressers name is Lily, obviously she does not care about her customers’ needs and just cut as she likes. So much for being so called “professional”. Hopefully my review will help other future customers. P.S Forgot to mention earlier, once she finished with my hair, all the used scissors and tools were left in the tray uncleaned while she immediately when to sit by the door looking at her handphone again. Thinking back now I seriously wonder if the tools were properly cleaned/sanitized before she cut my hair…. Really super duper regret visiting this shop!

My usual go to place when I need my hair cut. All the staffs there are super friendly. Even though peak hour, fellow stylists will still give you the full attention you need and make sure your hair is properly done. Usually crowded on weekend and weekday after working hour. Try to plan your trip slightly earlier to avoid long queue.

i would put zero star if i could. got a bad hair cut from a lady today. requested to cut my hair short with a bit of layering but she ended up just cutting the hair short without any further trimming/ layering. both sides of my hair are at different length, and there are many strands of hair are not cut properly (ie longer than the rest). i might as well cut my hair myself instead of spending 15 bucks on this.

My first time cutting here was around a year ago, back in 2024 when I still had short hair, was cut by Cherine and she really took time to advise me, and really spent time to texturise my hair, left a good impression and fully convinced me to come back again. On 17th April, I came back to get a maintenance trim as I have been growing out my hair for the past 6 months. I was a bit hesitant to return because most of these types of quick salon/barber shops aren't good with their scissor work and long hair. Luckily I got Cherine again who was able to give me a really good scissors cut. I told her clearly that I am trying to grow out my whole head into a male ponytail but right now my hair is messy and very heavy, she helped me to thin out my hair, gave me a taper and even fixed all the messed up portions left behind by a previous barber that I went to 2-3 months back. She also followed my preference and asked me before she made any major cuts, one instance was when she advised me that slope/fade on my sides would look better on me, but I told her that I really wanna try having a ponytail so she didn't insist on the slope and just used scissors instead. Thanks Cherine! Will visit again for my next maintenance cut

Just had my hair cut done by Kelvin at Kojimaya at The Central. He was really patient and did a fantastic job ensuring a perfect cut all round. Will definitely come back again for your service as I’ve just found the perfect place and stylist for my hair. Thank you

I went down for a haircut and asked to shorten and thin my hair. The stylist asked me how short I wanted to cut my hair and I showed her what I wanted with my fingers, she remarked that it wasn’t even an inch. My hair was permed. She asked me if the curls and volume bothered me and I said no! I don’t know why she thought her objective was to cut my hair as short as possible. Halfway through the haircut she even said that was the shortest she could go, but I didn’t ask to cut as short as possible. I only needed a trim. She essentially cut away all of my perm and left the overgrown roots.
