What sets this yong tau foo stall apart is their special touch of fried ikan bilis in their noodles and soup. The seemingly plain mee hoon transforms into a delicious treat when paired with the savory soup. Mixing in the crispy ikan bilis adds a delightful crunch to every bite. Their fish balls are renowned for their freshness, flavor, and top-notch quality, handcrafted daily at the stall. For the full experience, be sure to arrive early to savor their fried brinjal and BitterGourd before they sell out, ideally before noon. Don't miss out on this unique culinary adventure at tyy!

Very very good. Traditional YTF. Freshly made with simple ingredients and fine very well. The individual pieces are perfectly cooked and prepared. Tender and savory fish mix. Noodles are topped with crispy ikan billis. There is usually a line but it moves quick. Yum.

I must say the yong tau foo is good. The soup is tasty as well. But the bee boon is just normal. Even when i added the chilli it’s still not so nice. The chilli they use is like ckn rice chilli.. hmm.. overall the food is ok.

Xiu Ji Ikan Bilis Yong Tau Foo is a great pick for a comforting meal. The broth is light and flavourful, and the crispy ikan bilis adds a nice crunch. Portions might be a bit light if you have a hearty appetite.

It’s a simple meal that’s value for money, but not worth the wait. You’d need to pair the noodles with lots of chili unless you like it bland. At least the ikan bilis is crispy

Freshly sculptured Yong Tau Fu rewards the early bird. As a lifelong YTF fan, I finally managed to try this on a Saturday 11am. Queue was around 10 people but it moved quickly. Even though the official timing says 1.30pm, I have been here at 12pm and they were already cleaning the stall. The earlier you are, the higher chance of you getting to enjoy this. The choice is simple. I went with the default 4 pieces combo in soup that comes with beehoon and noodles, topped with ikan bilis. Being greedy, I added the bittergourd, brinjal, another fried tofu, and additional ikan bilis. Being slightly sweet, salty and crispy, the ikan bilis was a great match with the unseasoned soft beehoon noodles and provided another dimension in texture and taste to it. I really love their white tofu and could taste how fresh it was. An auntie is hand making it live at the side. You can’t possible get any fresher than this. I think having a set combo like this is a better and more hygienic way to serve YTF. Would definitely be back whenever the timing fits my schedule. Tip: if you are trying to find where this stall is, look at the map near the main escalator. It’s at the area behind the famous 1950s coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the yong tau foo at Xiu Ji, and it was a delightful experience. For just $4, I enjoyed a tasty and satisfying bowl of yong tau foo. The ingredients were fresh, and the broth was flavourful. As I went on a weekday morning, the queue was short. The stall wasn’t easy to find as I missed out the section of the food centre where it is located. I will recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable yong tau foo fix if you are around the area.

What’s unique about this yong tau foo stall is the fried ikan billis which they add to their noodles and soup. The vermicelli may look bland, but trust me, it’s tasty. Toss up the noodles and ikan billis and you get a nice crunch during mouthfuls. The Yong tau foo are made fresh at their stall. If you are early, do add on the fried brinjal and BitterGourd too. Do come before 12pm as they sell out early! 👍🏻😋

We were already full, but the line was so long for this place we felt we had to stop by to try it. It was worth the stop. If you love tofu, this place is a must stop.we ordered the 4pc yong tay foo with bee hoon/noodle. You get try lots of their flavors in one dish. We also added fish cake...which was good, bit nothing special. The highlight was definitely the stuffed tofu and the fried tofu. The fried tofu had a thin crispy skin and silky center. Amazing flavors! Having it in the nicely seasoned broth was perfect. This was my first time tasting fries anchovies (ikan bilis). I loved them. Sooooo crispy and full of flavor 😋 Also this area is really tucked away so it's a nice quite area to find seating.
