Yue Hwa Chinese Products is running its 30th-anniversary Mid-Autumn programme at the flagship store at 70 Eu Tong Sen Street through 27 September 2026. The official digest post went up on 6 August. The Level 1 fair is the useful bit if you actually need mooncakes, tea, or a lantern without waiting for a street light-up that is not happening this year.
Hong Kong pastry names on Level 1
The store's own fair card lists Wing Wah, Shan Shau Jok, Dai Pai Dong, OKE, and Macau Hong Hong on Level 1, plus linen apparel put out for the season. Wing Wah's shop page at Yue Hwa still prices a double yolk white lotus piece at $16, solid white lotus at $15, and single yolk white at $15.50. A four-yolk box is $80. Mini mooncakes are $52. A seven-piece set is $82. Members get 10 percent off four pieces of the singles if they use the MEMBER code, which is the usual Yue Hwa checkout rule, not a Mid-Autumn extra.
That is a different buy from hotel gift boxes. You are in a Chinese department store on Eu Tong Sen Street, next to People's Park Complex, paying piece prices and walking out with a bag. The fair also puts out tea and China snacks. If you want Teochew-style pastry instead, Thye Moh Chan at Chinatown Point #01-45 is running a separate 15 percent early-bird on mooncake sets until 14 September, per the mall promotions page. That is a five-minute walk, not a Yue Hwa stall.
Spend thresholds through 27 September
From 1 to 27 September, the in-store gifts with purchase are: spend $38 for a Mid-Autumn fortune draw, spend $58 for a Yue Hwa lantern, spend $128 for a wellness gift set. Stocks are limited. The fortune draw is the one that will have a queue on weekends. A 30th-anniversary layered stamp activity through the building pays out an At Tea artisanal tea voucher for the first 500 completions.
Sunday workshops and the 13 September tea sitting
Blooms & Brews runs every Sunday from 16 August to 27 September, 1pm to 5pm, at $10 a person. That is a floral-and-tea table, not a mooncake class. The dated sitting that is easy to miss is Tea Gathering with Wuyistar on 13 September at 2pm on Level 3. The ticket is $16.80 and includes a $5 tea voucher and a gift. 13 September is a Sunday, so it stacks with Blooms & Brews if you are already in the building.
The fair opened 6 August, so you have already lost the first month. 27 September is two days after festival day on the 25th. If you need a boxed set for 25 September dinner, do not wait for the last weekend. Yue Hwa's September storewide promo, posted 1 September, is a separate herbs-and-apparel sale of up to 50 percent off and should not be confused with the Mid-Autumn GWP.
Chinatown MRT Exit E is the People's Park side. The Yue Hwa building faces Eu Tong Sen Street. There will be no giant Mid-Autumn lanterns on that road this year, which makes the store's own lantern GWP one of the few lanterns you can actually take home from the precinct.
