Thye Moh Chan's Teochew Festival is in the indoor atrium at Chinatown Point from Monday 26 October through Sunday 1 November 2026, 10am to 9pm. The bakery is 83 years old this year. For one week the atrium holds more than 80 handcrafted kueh, snacks, and souvenirs, some chosen in Swatow and flown in, plus a pre-order Teochew braised duck. Hours and the 80-plus count are on 8world Vibes, 14 October 2026. Collection rules for the duck are on Little Big Red Dot, 23 October 2026.
Where it is, and the shop that stays after 1 November
Venue: indoor atrium, Chinatown Point, 133 New Bridge Road, Singapore 059413. Chinatown MRT NE4/DT19 is under the mall. The permanent Thye Moh Chan counter is #01-45, phone 6604 8858. BreadTalk Group also lists Jewel Changi, Jurong Point, NEX, and Paragon. This page is the atrium week. After Sunday 1 November, go to #01-45 for the usual pastry line, not the festival stall.
The atrium is a mall floor, not Pagoda Street. If you are already on Smith Street, walk New Bridge Road toward the MRT. Do not treat this as a street market. Chinatown Point's own promotions board did not carry a dedicated 2026 festival page when we checked. Trust the bakery, 8world, and the two English write-ups that quote Thye Moh Chan's prices.
Braised duck is pre-order only
The Teochew braised duck (潮汕卤鸭) cooks for more than six hours and comes with braising sauce. LBRD, citing the bakery, prices a whole bird at S$68.80, a half at S$38.80, and a quarter at S$20. Order at least two days before your collection date on thyemohchan.com or by phone on 9479 2294. Collection is only at the atrium, 11am to 2pm or 4pm to 7pm. Cash, NETS, Visa, and Mastercard are listed. Walk-in duck is not the plan. If you want a bird on Saturday 31 October, the order needs to sit by Thursday 29 October.
Kueh, rolls, drinks, and the Dear You piece
New this year, on LBRD, is ping pong kueh (乒乓粿), a chewy rice-skin kueh with roasted peanuts and sesame. Thye Moh Chan's own Facebook post for the same week says the filling is rice puffs and peanuts, handmade here. Treat the stall card as the last word on the filling. Yam roll (正宗潮汕香芋卷) is S$8.80, or two for S$16. Mung bean cake (绿豆糕) is S$6.80 for six. Teochew bak chang is S$8.80, or two for S$10. Two new drinks, a fingered-citron Phoenix Dancong tea and a yam 鸭屎香 oolong milk tea, are S$6.80 a cup. 鸭屎香 is the tea name. It is not an ingredient joke on the cup.
Bo bee kueh (无米粿) is the rice-flour-free piece that showed up in the film Dear You (给阿嬷的情书). Fresh boxes of three Teochew kueh, including bo bee, are S$8.80. Frozen packs of two are S$5 on the Facebook list. Other steamed kueh named for this week: ci kak kueh (鼠壳粿) with Jersey cudweed from Shantou, turnip kueh (芒光粿), and chai po kueh (菜脯粿). 8world also flags shrimp rolls (虾枣). Fingered-citron soft candy is S$10.80, or two for S$18.80. Teochew Three Treasures (潮州三宝) is S$18, or three for S$53. Handcrafted pieces sell out. Go earlier in the day if you want the Swatow-selected kueh.
One tau sar piah slot a day, and the $38 crafts
A mini tau sar piah masterclass runs 3pm to 4pm daily, one slot. Register at the atrium. Bakers walk you through the wrap that makes the flaky layers. Peanut-square making is a live demo, not a class. Spend S$38 and you can paint a mini Teochew oil-paper lantern with a name or a short blessing, or shape air-clay kueh. Those two crafts are on The New Age Parents and on 8world. The $38 is a same-visit spend, not a ticket.
Mooncakes from this bakery are a different product and a different season. The 2026 Chinatown mooncake roundup is already on this site. This atrium week is kueh, duck, and the lantern table. If you only want the usual tau sar piah after 1 November, #01-45 is the counter.
