Came here in January, saw a pair of Tiffany n Co cat eye glasses that I liked but they only have it in tortoise shell. I asked whether have black, the lady (LC) said must order. She ordered for me, whatsapped me when it arrived. I went down to try it but didn't like it. End up didn't buy anything but excellent service from her throughout. Shop was crowded on a weekday lunchtime, looks like all regular customers. I would buy from them but too bad they don't carry the style I was looking for. Also price wise they are slightly cheaper.
Hii so I want there with my mom and myself I bought a Elastic string for 1 20
Packet beads for 1$
Findings 1 60
Beads 30€ boxes 5$ and like the string is very good it doesn't break very fast so like I recommen to buy it from this store!!
Highly recommend this store for anyone who requires bracelet-making materials. I sourced materials here for a big event and the seller was actually very patient and even gave me a call to advice me on what materials would be more ideal for the activity I was planning. Thank you very much!
usually not one to leave reviews but this place just sits with me so well! im going to list my pros and cons about here and hope that it can help my fellow beaders out there ! i mention the other bead store around the corner too if you want to know where to go first! so almost like everyone who came recently , i saw this place on tiktok! +1 for good marketing :) all opinions are my own, so feel free to feel differently!
pros:
-both the store owners are very very kind & friendly! during my time there , the man was very helpful and went around helping different customers, offered me a basket within my first 2 minutes of even stepping into the store which was shows good hospitality! the lady asked me if she could help me find any beads in particular but i only needed to repack the beads into a smaller qty, to which she was so fast and efficient with!
-HUGE variety of beads & charms, they had your standard seed beads , AB beads, alphabet beads, bow beads, butterflies, neko charms, i feel like if i were to list everything this review would turn into a five page essay HAHHA,, but they also had non bracelet making items (given the craft in the name) such as miniature plates, and various other miniatures (only lightly browsed this section but the plates were so tiny i loved it)
-wholesale prices are SO WORTH !! i got a 100g pack of 6mm non AB beads (i could be wrong its either 6 or 8mm) for only $3.95! a 200g pack of seed beads i picked up was around $2.40 if im not wrong? though you do have to sort thru everything slowly to makesure u dont miss anything!
cons:
-(not really a con since they cant control it) but the isles arent that spacious (max 4 people in an isle without it feeling crowded) , so i would recommend going on a weekday before 2-3 since kids are still in school to avoid the crowd!
-their mix & match bead selection isnt the biggest (its a 4 tiered shelf if im not wrong) , so definitely would come here for the wider variety of beads than the mix & match! if you want a bead soup/mix & match, the other shop around the corner would be preferred.
tbh those are the only cons but totally avoidable and not the shop’s faukt at all!! HAHAH
overall, although im someone who prefers to buy mix & match, i would rather come here for the customer service & hospitality! very good customer retention and its so totally worth to support a local biz :D
Owner help me restring my Buddhist prayer Mala beads even though I didn’t buy from him . And the fee he charges is reasonable . He offered me many valuable suggestions to make my Mala look good and nice .
I even paid extra via Paynow to him but he immediately used the extra money to add more precious beads to my Mala . I am very happy with his service . I will recommend this shop to all my friends .
The store owners were very kind, friendly and helpful. The collections were good and the varieties exceeded my requirements.
One suggestion to them is that they should try optimising the store layout. It gets tough to move around when it gets little crowded.
Had a great experience at Beads and Crafts!
Genuinely think people should consider reading more reviews before jumping to conclusions at the negative ones. Prices were VERY reasonable unlike what some people say. Of course you can definitely get them cheaper if you buy them in bulk or online but there’s definitely a small price to pay if you want to get your goods now!
Service was great too despite the long queues. Hope everyone can be considerate to the rest in the queue and the staff there by not requesting too many things given the current climate of things!
I’ve been to this place before but I think with the Eras’ tour frenzy it’s been a mess. I didn’t mean to be rude but a customer said I was so I reflected but it was never my intention. If I was I apologize. I was genuinely just asking when the white alphabets beads will be restocked but I was told “没有” instead of a time but because I did see some stock over at the other side and the TikTok did mention they restock everyday so I asked again because I thought if they could repackage it soon enough I could come by again this week. They said it will only be restocked end of the month. I wanted it for my own project but Uncle kept saying “won’t be in time” but I was explaining it could be in time for my own project but nevertheless I asked because I saw people picking the alphabets which later on which was explained as the owner’s relatives. I mean I would have loved to finish my beads shopping in one trip so it was a little disappointing. Since it’s going to take a month, I think ordering online might be faster. And yes I should have seen the reviews before I went down about the recent chaos and alphabet bits being out of stock. They have some cute beads and I paid a fair price for the beads I bought eventually. It would have been a better shopping experience if they weren’t so busy for less miscommunication and more patience.
