No frills Thai food. The crispy Thai wing was impeccable - crispy skin yet the chicken meat was still tender. The chicken wings were in bite sized pieces, very cute! Drunkard noodles were quite spicy 😅 Classic papaya salad was tasty, full of papaya, corn, green beans. 😋 The only downside is that when the restaurant is crowded, the noise echoes and becomes quite noisy.
🌟 A Hidden Thai Gem Worth Revisiting! 🌟
Stumbled upon this cozy spot and was blown away by the flavors! The fried rice was perfectly seasoned, and the Tom Yam soup hit all the right notes—spicy, tangy, and comforting. The side dishes rounded out the meal beautifully.
What really made the experience shine was the warm hospitality—the lady boss and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated their flexibility when I wanted to swap rice for noodles—such a thoughtful touch!
Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors with a generous side of great service 😄
Pork Krapow is nice and the pork is quite tender. The rice is good.
Fried Garlic Pork is with different flavor, quite special.
Their curry noodles is very nice, curry fragrance is good but a little spicy.
Had the Krapow pork, Papaya corn salad, Pad See Ew Seafood and Lemongrass drink. Food was authentic. Staff very friendly, efficient and attentive. Will return again and recommend! 🙏
My All time Favourite from this restaurant is Drunken Noodle. This is my 3rd time visiting to this branch, I also tried twice for delivery.
Today the drunken noodle seems to be less spicy and I checked with the staff whether it was normal chili or less chili. They took back the dish and checked with the chef. Came back and update me that they will redo the spicy one for me. I was not expecting such service. The food was amazing. I will go back again for their drunken noodle for sure. Oh, the crackling pork belly is so good too.
Had the watercress fish congee & plain steamed rice rolls this morning - both were delicious. The congee was smooth & comforting with generous chunks of fish & a refreshing hint of watercress. The rice rolls were silky-soft with a light, chewy texture & a nice rice fragrance, complemented by the house-made sauces. Handmade Hong Kong-style breakfast done right.
5 stars for the smooth prawn rice noodle roll. Prawn was copious. 4 stars for the pork porridge, ingredients fresh and portion big. Porridge could be smoother but this is my personal preference and their specialty is not the porridge anyway. Porridge had good amount of tender pork meat and ribs. Would recommend a visit.
Really soft cheong fun. I tried the egg cheong fun ($3.70) and the 皮蛋瘦肉粥($5) which was really huge. I took 45 minutes to finish my breakfast.
You can see from my photos how big the porridge was and it was full of ingredients (3 pork balls, pork slices and century egg). The porridge is not as sticky as cantonese style congee. Instead it is a bit less viscous.
