Ate here on a Sunday evening. Not crowded or noisy. Enjoyed my meal here. The value is incredible and the food is delicious. Recommended!!

Ordered the Iberico sirlion katsu curry ($19 with tax). The meat was ok. Tender in the middle but dry at the ends of the cutlet. The rice came almost room temperature. The curry had bits of carrot and potato which I did like, but the taste is definitely not Coco curry level. Overall a decent but unmemorable meal.

Not a very pleasant experience. I went to this outlet around 3 plus which I believed is their staff lunch break time so I was just standing at the entrance hoping to get their attention. Luckily one lady staff finished her lunch and saw me but bluntly just signalled me to the table infront of her and said “ scan qr order” Mmmm 😑😑😑 feels like I’m disturbing their rest time. The table the she signalled me was unwiped and visible food scraps still on the table so I just told her I will sit on another table. But well just my luck, the table that I changed to has hair from the previous customer I guess? Things just doesn’t seems too friendly or hygienic. I was attracted to their promotion set meal so I just go ahead to order , was ok but nothing to shout about. The katsu was wet at the bottom and the sesame sauce on top of the shredded cabbage seems like it was on standby for quite some time already maybe due to the busy crowd? I’ve had very good experience from other outlets but Chinatown outlet was a let down. Price was good but service and food taste will not make people come back

I recently visited Gochi-So Shokudo Japanese Restaurant to try their new launch, the JAPANESE IBERICO CHAR SIEW FEAST, and it was a delightful experience. The star of the show was their Japanese Iberico Char Siew Don, priced at just $8.80 from Monday to Thursday, a fantastic deal for such quality. The char siew was tender and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory notes, paired beautifully an onsen egg on top of the fluffy Japanese rice. We also tried the Iberico Char Siew & Iberico Loin Katsu Set, which is an incredible value at only $10.80. The Iberico loin katsu was crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and succulent on the inside, making every bite satisfying. From their usual menu, we indulged in the Iberico Sirloin Katsu Curry. The rich, aromatic curry paired with the tender sirloin katsu was a match made in heaven—comforting and full of flavor. The Iberico Pork Leg Ham Katsu Soba Noodles offered a delightful contrast with its light, refreshing broth and crispy katsu, providing a perfect balance of textures. Lastly, the Kami Nabe Shabu Shabu was a heartwarming dish, with thin slices of Iberico pork cooked in a delicate broth that allowed the natural sweetness of the pork to shine through.

Go the weekly combo special, great value and very satisfying meal.. quick competent service within an air condition ambient...

Tried their highly-recommended lohei at an event and was pretty impressed by the authentic taste and freshness of the ingredients. Personally went down during CNY to buy home to share with family. Their salmon lohei didn't disappoint but strongly feel that they can do much better by seriously brushing up on their customer service, smile more and not be so arrogant. Customers are already paying higher than normal to enjoy their lohei and the family should be very happy!

First time see hawker centre selling fresh lohei. Was recommended by a friend to try. Lohei was fresh and tasty. Price is reasonable too. Ordered the large portion to share for an office event of 20 pax and it was just nice.

Heard reviews about this stall's lohei during CNY but never tried it. Tried the wine chicken $6 plus rice 70cents for lunch today. Soup tasted of chinese wine for sure, chicken pieces were not many, perhaps only about 4 pieces with spring onions, ginger and wolf berries. Overall soup taste is pretty decent.

Best Yu Sheng I had this year! Still selling until 2 March 2025
