I must say the yong tau foo is good. The soup is tasty as well. But the bee boon is just normal. Even when i added the chilli it’s still not so nice. The chilli they use is like ckn rice chilli.. hmm.. overall the food is ok.

We were already full, but the line was so long for this place we felt we had to stop by to try it. It was worth the stop. If you love tofu, this place is a must stop.we ordered the 4pc yong tay foo with bee hoon/noodle. You get try lots of their flavors in one dish. We also added fish cake...which was good, bit nothing special. The highlight was definitely the stuffed tofu and the fried tofu. The fried tofu had a thin crispy skin and silky center. Amazing flavors! Having it in the nicely seasoned broth was perfect. This was my first time tasting fries anchovies (ikan bilis). I loved them. Sooooo crispy and full of flavor 😋 Also this area is really tucked away so it's a nice quite area to find seating.

What more can I say after all the reviews here. Worth queuing for 25 mins. Love the beehoon and the ikan bilis. Soft and crunchy at the same time.😋

Have not eaten from this stall for at least 8 years. There is always a long line queuing to buy the yong tow foo from here. You either order the dish with or without noodle and you can add additional ingredients. The food is very nice and sells out early. Soup is clear but flavourful. The unique thing here is that you get half a spoon of crispy ikan bills with every order. Service is OK.

This heritage stall, a nostalgic throwback to Yong Tau Foo, is often sold out early. While many Hakka stalls have modernised their offerings that blurred the line between Mala and Yong Tau Foo, this stall maintains a classic approach that may not appeal to everyone. Their menu is simple: four pieces with carbs for $4 or five pieces without carbs for $3.50. I opted for four pieces option and added premium pieces of bitter gourd and eggplant for $0.80 each. The soup was sweet and I enjoyed the plain noodles without any seasoning. The ikan bilis topping lightly flavoured the noodles, which was a nice touch. Overall, I found this to be an above average bowl of Yong Tau Foo. The only letdown is the diluted chilli which I think they probably do better without it. As a Huizhou Hakka, I'm used to pork-based fillings, but this fish paste was surprisingly good. It was fresh and didn't taste like store-bought ones, which I really dislike. Tips: If you want to avoid missing out, try going early in the day. The queue time on weekday late morning is only about 20 minutes, as they prepare the food upon order.

Went around 10:30am, staff was super friendly and quick to seat me. It was quite busy and there was some people making reservations to come for breakfast afterwards. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and I loved to people watch! The music was great aswell! Got the Ranch Avocado Sandwich! Which was very yummy but I saw a lot of people ordering the Avocado + Shrimps combo and it looked delicious!!! also ordered a freshly pressed orange juice and paid $20 SG

Generally the food here is cafe-style. There are various options available. We had some pasta and the avocado on toast (you can choose between salmon, bacon, and mushrooms). The last option is vegetarian if im not wrong. The food here is generally well portioned (in fact quite filling). We also had coffee, and some fruit teas. The coffee is nice. The staff here is extremely friendly & will serve plain water the moment you’re seated. The staff also ensured to check in and asked if the seats were sufficiently spaced. They also shared on how to place our orders without us having to ask. Generally, it was pretty crowded on a Sunday but little to no waiting time. I’ll definitely comeback again to dine!

I came here on a weekday late morning with my husband. 💚 we were seated promptly at the back of the cafe. It was bright, cosy and air conditioned as well. The green walls, tiles and plants gave a sense of serenity and home, as if visiting a grandparent and resting deep inside the house. The menu was filled with a good variety, perfect for if you’re looking for something filling or a quick bite. We ordered the Smoked Salmon & Avo Bagelwich ($14), Prawn & Avo on Toast ($17) as well as a Regular sized Unsweetened Ice Matcha Latte ($5.50). The Bagelwich was a good sized portion, filling enough for me. The bagel was soft and fluffy, the ingredients tasted fresh and delightful. I loved how much salmon they gave and the homemade dill pickles was a good refreshing break on the palette. The Prawn and Avo was an interesting mix of flavours: sweet from the mango salsa and a burst of tanginess from the sundried cherry tomatoes. The prawn was bouncy and fresh. They were also generous with the avo. I prefer my matcha “grassy” so I was happy that it was so, although on hindsight, would’ve chosen for it to be sweetened instead, haha! Would want to come back again to try the other items on the menu!

Absolutely nailed every item we ordered. I went for a Build your Breakfast. Ordered a Sesame Bagel with cream cheese, poached eggs, sauteed mushrooms, half avocado, salad, baked beans. Baked beans was out of the world. Poached eggs had perfect consistency. Textbook execution. And wife ordered Halloumi Avocado bagelwich which was great too. And for drinks we had iced mocha and Caramel oatmilk latte. Magical. Pity this place is in Chinatown and too far for us else I'd come here every day. A 6/5 if you will
