Exceptional service, exceptional food, exceptional ambience. The smell of mutton and spices hits you once you enter the restaurant. A great place for mutton lovers. A restaurant with one of the best service ever!!! Better than many high end restaurants. Staff would provide a hot towel to warm your hands once you’re seated. They would give suggestions to the food to order and would promptly replace our plates with new ones. We have a baby with us, and the staff would switch on the lights to the unopened area of the restaurant to let our baby look at the fish to entertain him. This is the restaurant where my baby is willing to sit on the high chair for the longest time! Likely because the chair is comfy. Staff would also try to entertain him and even gave him a stuffed toy as a gift! Would definitely come back again and highly recommended!!

The collagen set is perfect for lamb lovers! *VIP price at $69++ / for 2pp I'd like to try bamboo shoots and other ingredients, so next time I will visit with more than 3 friends! Cuz I was sooooo full felt like my stomach was going to burst🤣

Friendly & kind staffs helped me, 1st time customer, got free membership & saved well. The lambs are fresh & tender & juicy & very well cooked! Can’t make it at home that kinda pro quality! Really worth the price! 口水鸡 & 夫妻肺片 both are authentic & delicious, I ordered one more 夫妻肺片 as takeout! Will definitely come again & try hot pot & noodles. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience, the staff is so incredibly helpful and smiling, always present and never invasive. The lamb hotpot is to die for, not so spicy, just perfect balance. The meat is tender and flavorful, the quantity is big. Also the pork and the beef slices were nice, together with the vegetables. We also tasted lamb skewers (with cumin), chicken wings filled with shrimps (but we could not feel the shrimps), and the lamb pancake, amazingly crispy even if the lamb patty was too firm, probably not much fatty, and definitely the broth is the king of dinner, don't miss it.

After quite a long time away, we returned for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant now feels more spacious, and the interior is noticeably cleaner, brighter, and more inviting than before. We ordered the 2-person lamb set, which included sliced lamb, sliced pork, lamb chops, hand-pulled noodles, lamb tripe, a basket of vegetables, lamb meatballs, and tofu. We also added an extra portion of sliced lamb, garlic pork slices (蒜泥白肉), and two skewers of grilled pork belly. To top it off, we enjoyed their buy-3-get-1-free Harbin beer promotion. Our choice of the lamb herbal soup base was excellent—lighter on the herbs compared to before, but also less salty and refreshingly free of MSG. The broth was clean and naturally sweet. Every item in the lamb set was delicious and of high quality. The lamb chops, sliced lamb, and meatballs were especially outstanding—rich in flavor without being overly gamey. Lamb lovers will definitely appreciate it. A special mention goes to the garlic pork slices, which were tender and packed with flavor. The grilled pork belly skewers were smoky, aromatic with cumin, and satisfyingly savory. The staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and hospitable. All in all, a great dining experience that we highly recommend!

Great first visit with warm service and authentic decor. The spicy lamb spine pot and collagen soup were flavorful and satisfying. Loved the beef tripe appetizer and tender lamb ribs. We ordered the collagen soup based with lamb chops incl grilled ones. We had divided preference for both and dessert come free w every hotpot ordered. The bamboo shoots will hv to cook slightly longer otherwise it'll be too hard. Overall, the experience is good.

This place has great lamb! We loved the big bones, original soup and mala soup! Delicious! We ordered the joyful pasture and meats were great. Staff were very helpful, kept bringing us things and the free dessert is refreshing and delicious. Not too sweet. Yum yum!

First Visit, Impressive Experience! Tried the lamb hotpot and collagen soup - absolutely delightful! The lamb meat and bone were tender and flavorful. Staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place! 5/5 stars

I had one of the best hot pot experiences at Chuang Yang Ji. It's such a lovely restaurant with mutton related hotpot, ingredients and ala carte dishes. The mutton skewer is definitely a must order. Spiced version isn't super spicy, good for everyone. Tender lamb with generous portions of spices, eat it while it's still hot. We had the lamb collagen set which comes with a ton of ingredients. Our favourite was the lamb meatballs, it's so springy and flavourful. Second would be the lamb ribs, the meat still sticks to the bone but it's amazing. Soupbase was great, it's light and easy to drink. None of the mutton had a strong lamb signature smell but they all taste good. Ingredients were fresh and portions were of a good size. Staff service is excellent, comparable or better than HDL. The staff were cheerful and seemed happy working here. It was easy to get attention. They even helped scoop out the floating scum without us prompting them. Dining environment was clean and spacious, our clothes didn't smell too much of steamboat after. Aircon was cold enough, didn't break a sweat. There was a good selection of condiments, their special chilli is pretty good. Overall, a great experience here. Will definitely return in the future to here or their other outlets.
