I had small lobster and bbq the food was really delicious and the waitress very friendly. The only thing was the lamb meat was way too dry and everything was very expensive. So just 4 out of 5 stars
Finally here to try the huaiyang cuisine! The food was good although pricey. The pau was good although on the sweet side. The stuffed mushroom with vegetables was good too! Most of the dishes have the wok hey and the meatball demonstrated the skills of the chef. The service was a bit slow and the ambience can be improved especially the table cloth.
The food is very meh and pricey. The silver fish with egg is $38 and it tastes worse than any regular Tze char stall. Overall, not worth visiting even if you’re in the area.
First time coming here and was expecting an authentic Chinese cuisine. The crab roe tofu have too little crab roe and tastes yet a bit fishy. The intestines with vegetables is rather average - would be good if the intestines was more crispy and fried. 红烧肉 was the biggest disappointment because the colour is just off, should be dark red and full of flavour and munch but those elements were just not present. All in all, felt more like home cooked food rather than authentic China food. Wouldn’t say it’s very bad but for sure not coming back again.
Love this restaurant ! The service is good & the food tastes great! The braised shredded chicken w dried tofu soup - naturally collagenous n sweet ! The soft steamed Yangzhou Bao was filled w savoury meat - tastes like it’s been made w a lot of love n care ! Definitely will try out their 🔥 dishes the next time !
This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve tried recently. The dishes are absolutely top-notch, offering many options I’ve never had in Singapore before. I especially loved their chive pockets and crab meat noodles—words can’t describe how delicious they are!
It is a truly authentic Chinese restaurant, preserving the original Jiangsu cooking style with great attention to detail. The dishes are full of traditional flavors, not overly modified for local taste, and each plate feels like a piece of Jiangsu’s culinary heritage. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is balanced, and the presentation is elegant yet homely. Service is warm and attentive, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. A perfect choice for anyone seeking genuine Jiangsu cuisine in Singapore.
A very pleasant experience with a perfect Jiangsu food taste of China. It’s an unforgettable lunch for me to have this great meat and vegetables in Singapore. The service is also nice.
The restaurant, despite its claim of being high-end Huaiyang cuisine, failed to deliver on ambiance, service, or value for money. The decor was unremarkable, the service was indifferent, and overheard staff discussions created an unpleasant atmosphere. The food was merely acceptable, but the prices were exorbitant, with dishes like duck soup costing over 100 SGD. The salted duck was tasteless and stale, while the yangchun noodle was the only redeeming dish, though still overpriced. The restaurant's high price point was not justified by the quality of the experience.
